Nicley put. I think you're right. If they writers get both Picard ad Crusher together, it would hurt their sweet relationship.
I say that Crusher is indeed tbest suited for the aptain but they should never get together.

Yes indeed but I think Picard's case is something special. He actually chooses his career above his personal interests. His his love life would intervene with his work, I'm sure Picard would stop the relationship. That's just who he is I guess...

i never knew bald could be sexy either, count me in on the new hair style!  it was a tough choice because they touch on this issue a lot in the series but given thier history and what we see in thier future i have to say dr crusher. but then agian they do end up divorced.. right?

I didnt understand that episod "atatched" or whatever it was called. I was totally sure that they would have got together in that one. But in the end of the episode, where they are about to kiss and all that. Crusher just leaves...
Picard said something like "Maybe we shouldnt be afraind of your feelings"
and beverly said "or maybe we shoud" And I was like WHAT! And she just left! I didnt understand anything! Anyone got a explanation? Why didnt they hook up?

I'm not sure but I think they both meant that from then onwards, they wouldn't have to push away their feelings. However, they both knew that they could never become romantically involved.
It's like finding the perfect partner and knowing that you can't get together. In real life it's very sad but it makes good story lines...
