I would say all the movies above Alien are Thriller flicks, and not sci fi. But they're still cool anyway.
I love the Stargate movie.
Planet of the Apes.
Time Machine.

Blade 1 and 2 (if it counts as being sci-fi)
Of course any and everything related to Dracula rocks.

Excellent choice Ryano. Those movies you named are indeed very good (although I wouldn't put Robocop on 2). But you forgot Strange Days! If you haven't seen it, see it now! It's a thriller, science fiction, ... it's got it all!

I have a soft spot for Robocop , it's more sentimental than anything. When it came out I was quite young , and my uncle worked at a theme park here in Australia and he gave me a full replica of both Robocops helmet and gun. So I think it more or less stems from there.
Strange Days is an awesome film I'll give you that!!!
