PostSun Jul 25, 2004 12:38 am    Top 10 Sci Fi Flicks

I need to know everyones top 10 sci fi flicks. I am expanding the Sci Fi section at my work and would like to know if there's any I'm missing out on.
Don't include any Star trek movies as of course they were first priority!

Youll also want to add Independence Day. Quite the popular movie. Maybe even Mars Attacks! or Armageddon Sky.

Incubus with William Shatner. Maybe not exactly sci-fi, but it's a good classic B-movie

Oh, I seeeeeeeee. That makes *some* sense, Although bees only seem to pollinate plants with blossoms/flowers. Maybe I'm wrong.... anywho.

My top 10 is (excluding Star Trek movies of course!):

    10. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
    9. X-Men 2 (2003)
    8. Back to the Future (1985)
    7. Blade Runner (1982)
    6. Star Wars: Episode IV - Return of the Jedi (1983)
    5. Matrix (1999)
    4. Star Wars (1977)
    3. Terminator 2 (1991)
    2. Aliens (1986)
...and my favorite of all time...
    1. Strange Days (1995)

I'm happy to say I have all of those!
Other great sci-fi movies are (again excluding Star Trek movies):

    Metropolis (1927)
    Alien (1979)
    2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
    A Clockwork Orange (1971)
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
    The Terminator (1984)
    Spider-Man 2 (2004)
    Planet of the Apes (1968)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)
    The Invisible Man (1933)

Ryano, what's your top 10? I'd like to know yours as you must know quite a lot of movies (being in a movie store).
