Galaxy/Sovereign Class Ships

I chose the galaxy class, because its big and sleek. I don't like those birds of prey the have taken out two enterprises so far....the original Ent, and the Ent-D. I don't htink the way the ent-d was destroyed was a good way for it to go I mean the ship goes through so much just6 to be destroyed in the end by a bird of prey? I think it should have been a romulan warbird.

The Soverign is better because if you go to lcarscom.net, the ship itself is extreemely advanced compared to the Galaxy. Also, it has a cooler more streamlined design.

i vote sovereign, it can do everything the galaxy class can exept split into two parts, which i dident see the point of anyway.

I voted Galaxy. Mainly because of the Enterprise-D in the series. That was the flag ship of Starfleet and to me, it'll always remain the real flag ship.

I voted for Galaxy but if you ask me, I'd vote for the Defiant class- it's heavy armoured and armed.

at first i couldn't stand the sight of either of them but i think there both great

I love the way the soveriegn class is a mixture of Excelsior, Intrepid & Nova class designs. I also love the way that no other ships are like the galaxy class

I like the look of the galaxy more than the sovereign, but the sovereign would kick @$$ in a battle so i think its safe to say i voted for sovereign

^Sovereign is bigger than that, if you compare the bridge module and the escape pods, theres a good 40 metre difference at least

The Sovereign-Class beats the Galaxy class in length by around 40 metres, but it's width and height do not fare as well. To put it midly, the Sovereign is a smaller ship

The Galaxy was more of an all purpose ship, it had room for almost twice the crew compliment in civillians, im not sure, but as far as I know, the Sovereign only had room for crew, however, the sovereign is definatly a great battleship, and would most likely wipe the floor clean of most other ships, including the galaxy

You'll get no argument from me. That Sovereign-Class was built for battle! My argument is that the Sovereign is a small ship, which means it likely has less scientific roles, less diplomatic roles as it is more geared for Federation defense and patrols.
