Here it is!!!

Lydalia's sleep was disrupted by a tickeling sensation on her sides. It wasn't until she heard the familiar, warm, laugh that always made her heart soar, that she realized what was happening. She opened one eye, and then the other, finding herself wrapped in the strong, protective arms o her beloved. Rab's chisled face smiled down at her as he leaned in to softly kiss her forhead. "Good morning, Beautiful."
"Hey Gorgeous," she answerd tracing a finger along him face.
"Sleep well?"
"MMMM... I always do when we're together."
"Me too," he agreed. He took her hand from his face, and kissed it once. "I love you. I love you, so very very much." He planted an intimate, lingering kiss on her lips.
"Not as much as I love you," she teased. "Sometimes I still can't believe I'm lucky enough to have you."
"I'm the lucky one, Sunshine."
"Don't call me that," she grinned up at him.
"You know you love it."
She shrugged in reply, "I know I love you, and I know you're the best thing that's ever happend to me. I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I know that if I ever lose you... my life would be empty."
"Likewise." Rab shifted his position slightly so that he was now sitting upright, and gently placed Lydalia's head in his lap. "Have you thought anymore about my idea?" He asked as he stroked her hair, letting it glide between his fingers.
"Which idea do you mean? The one where the three of us fix it so that the podium blows up during the Admiral's graduation speech, or the one where we end up tricking the Operations freaks into thinking the ceramony has been moved accross campus?"
"I mean the one where you and I end up together. Forever. Like we've always talked about. Married, getting our careers established, and eventually having a family together. Our family, Lyd."
"Of course I've thought about it, Rabbit. I think about it all the time." She pushed herself up on the bed so that she to was sitting upright, and leaned back against his bare chest. I want that for us evry bit as much as you do. You know that."
He smiled his big, Rab, smile, wrapped his arms tightly around her and fondly kissed her cheek. "Well then, let's take that next step. Agree to marry m..."
"SSHH..." She quieted him by placing her finger to his lips. "Don't say it. Not yet. Not until your mother is ready to except it. We can wait. Can't we?"
He took a slow, deep breath, and held her tighter. "I don't think... she's ever going to except us, Angel."
"Then I think we have a problem."

I forgot to mention, this part of the story takes place Lyd's third year. Trip and Rab, (And Triam), will be graduationg this year. ALSO! My story is pretty much G rated... but I do want to let the readers know there is a bit of sexually suggestive stuff in it as well. Stuff is... implied. No biggie.

And the Saga continues...

"I knew you'd see it that way," he sighed with a slight air of annoyance.
"What other way is there to see it? Either she excepts us, and we don't have a problem, or she dosen't and we do."
"Lyd, not everything is black or white. There's a whole spectrum of colors... just like ther is a whole spectrum of options open to us. I've given this a lot of thought, and I think I know what we should do."
"I'm listening," she replied gently dragging her fingertips up and down his leg.
HE kissed her on the neck twice before speaking again. "We can go away together. We'll get married, but not make it a public thing. Just us, your folks, and Trip. Maybe my sister too. Ellie has always liked you, and supported us. We don't need anything big. Mam will never even know until after the fact."
"What then, Rabbit? Sure, it sounds good in theory. Hell, I don't give a damn who is or isn't there, just as long as its you and I telling each other how much we love one anouther, and want to spend our lives together. The act of getting married is not what I am worried about. I'm worried about our lives after that. Your mother would disown you if you did something lke that."
"Yeah. I know that. Like I said, I've given this a lot of thought. I can make... a clean break from the family. I've got my shuttle. I own it outright, my parents have no claim over it. We can go out and explore the universe in it. We'll go far away from them, and start our own family together. If my mother can't except the fact that I'm going to spend my life with you, we don't need her in out lives."
"Yes you do. You love her. You've always been very close to your mother. You'd be lost without her. I won't let you do anything you might regret later."
"Listen to me, Lyd." He turned her so that he could look staraight into her eyes. "I would never regret making you my wife. I can guarentee that will be the happiest day of my life. We'll make each other so happy. The day you tell me we're going to be parents, will just make everything that much more magical. There is nothing about our sharing a life together that I could ever regret. "
Lyd took Rab's hand in her own. "I know that. I also know that you WOULD regert not having your mother in your life. You would regret dennyig our children their paternal grandmother. You would regret not being an active member of the Avrey family. I Don't want to be, in any way, responsable for any of those regrets."
"You won't be, Sunshine. We don't even know if any of those things will happen. We can work together to do our best not to let any of it happen. She'll probably come around some day. She'd never be able to resist her own grandchildren."
Lyd sat quietly for a moment, bitting her cheek, and resting her forhead in one hand. "Oh, Rabbit. You are much to sweet to truley understand just how deep hate can be. Any children I give you are going to be part Klingon. She hates me because I am Klingon. She's most likely going to feel the same way about them."
"So... so, what are you saying Lyd? Are you trying to tell me we can't have any of what we've been talking about?"
"What I'm saying is, we've got time. We have the rest of our lives, right? Let's just give her more time to adjust to the idea of us."
Rab's face took on a sad, childlike look. "But I want you to be mine as soon as possible."
She rolled her eyes playfully, and smiled brightly at him. "I already am yours, my love." She placed a sweet kiss on the end of his nose. "For as long as you'll have me."
"I'll have you forever!" He grabbed her and playfully pinned her on her back, treating her to a long, deep kiss. "I just want our forever to start now."
"Such an impatiant boy!" She manuvered the situation so that she was able to reverse their positions. "I need to start breakfast." She rolled off him and slipped out of bed. Finding one of Rab's shirts she pulled it on, knowing all along how much he loved it when she did that. "I love you." She whispered, leaning over him, and kissing his ear. Yawning, she left for the kitchen.

OK this is everything I have so far. There are a few minor changes and additions I still need to make... I've got two major scenes planned after this, but have not started on them yet.

Rab padded out after Lyd, as she began pulling out a selection of breakfast foods. "Just tell me you'll at least think about it."
Lyd looked over her shoulder at him and laughed. "Rab! Go put on some pants!"
"I don't wanna." He replied, scooping her up and pecking her all over with sweet, tiny kisses.
"Cut that out!" Lyd giggled as she wriggled herself free. "It's breakfast time, not play time." They both turned as they heard a noise coming from the other room. "Trip will be up soon, and breakfast isn't even started."
"Trip can get his own breakfast for a change. Let him replicate something. You come back to bed."
"You know I like my boys to have a nice homecooked breakfast evry morning. Besides, I promised Him pancakes today. Don't worry," she started before he could protest. "You'll still get your ommlette. Now go. Pants. You. Now."
"Not until you say you'll think about it."
She giggled affectionatly at him. "Yes, alright? I'll think about it. I promise. So how about those clothes? Silly, naked freak, go!" She shooed him away playfully.
"OK, OK," he chuckled. He stopped at the bedroom door and looked back at her. "I love you," and dissapeared into the room.
"I love you more!" She called after him, as she started the meal and a pot of coffee.
"Not possible." He protested, and Lyd smiled to herself.
Moments later, Trip's door swung open to reveal a groggy, still half asleep Trip, who was grumbeling incoherantley. Trip was sporting a pair of boxers, his hair more dishevled than usual, and scratching his backside with one hand as he crossed to the table.
"Now, that's attractive." Lyd said shaking her head at him. "Were you alone in there or am I going to have to make an extra breakfast again?"
Trip glared up at her, "Stuff it, Lyd."
"Aren't you the grumpy one today?" She extended her cheek toward him so that he cold give her the usual, 'good morning peck.' When he did, she replied, "Thank you. Now, have you're coffee, you'll feel better." She set a mug in front of him and kissed the top of his head. "You're pancakes will be ready in a minute." She placed a piece of toast in his mouth while he was in the middle of a big yawn.
"Pancakes?" He asked perking up just a bit. "What kind?"
"Plain, ones."
"Oh...' he replied, his dissapointment obvious.
She couldn't help but laugh at him. "I'm kidding. They're blueberry."
His face brightend as he broke into a broad grin. "You remembered!"
"Of course I did." She slid a stack of the pancakes onto his plate. "Eat up."
"Sunshine, you're the best." He stated, and pulled her down onto his lap for a friendly hug.
"You putting a move on my girl, Threms?" Rab inquired from his doorway.
"Naw," Trip answerd. "No need, she already likes me best, mate."
"You wish!" Lyd scoffed, standing to get Rab's ommlette, and noticing his change of clothing for the first time. She had to grab the edge of the table to keep from falling over with laughter. He was wearing her pants. They were incredibly tight on him, and ended just bellow his knees. "What do you think you're doing?"
Rab smiled proudly. "You told me to put some pants on."
"I didn't mean mine!"
"Why not?" Rab retorted, "You're wearing my shirt."
"What am I going to do with you?" Lyd chuckled as she put Rab's breakfast on the table.
"Come back to bed and I'll give you a few ideas." He replied seductivly.
"After breakfast," she compromised, "you'll need your srength."
Trip groaned. "Do you mind? You're ruining a perfect breakfast. Honestly, you two make me sick."
"Likewise, buddy." Rab shot back. "At least I can remember my girl's name."
"That's enough," Lyd scolded. "We are going to have a nice, friendly breakfast this morning. We can all hurl insults at each other later. Over lunch." She sat down with her own breakfast, and the three friends happily devoured their meal.
