Okay...well, you'll probably want to shoot me. But I hate the show. I've watched it and never really could get into it...it was too shallow for me. Just like Friends.

Hey, I've only just ventured into this part of STV. I love Cheers, it's bloody fantastic. You can't beat Lillith or Sam or Woody. They're just great!

The show had it's moments but overall, it never appealed to my tastes.
Even though I'm a Brit, I LOVE American comedies and drama's. And I can see why Cheers would appeal to some people but it just didn't appeal to me.

Ooh Cheers, I remember that one. They always aired it at like 11o'clock in the morning, when I was at school... One of those shows you only watch when you're home, sick... I didn't have much chose but to like it, we don't have that many chanels. And there weren't that much things to do...

The theme tune was pretty good though.
I'm not keen on the spin-off Frasier either. It also never appealed to me but I did give it a chance.
American's make good comedies (I believe the best ones were in the 80's). But I'm not keen on the 90's stuff. I liked the early seasons of Friends but feel the show ran out of steam. The only 90's comedy I liked was Ellen. Now that is funny. Home Improvement was not too bad. Cybill was passable.
I got to hand it to you American's though, your 80's comedies were the best. I wish I could relive those days when I watched them all.

I love Cheers and Frasier is even better IMO. American comedies are fantastic (Roseanne - one of my favourites at the mo.) but you can't beat some of the English comedies either.
