The Original Series on DVD

Not long now until TOS make's it's debut on R1 DVD. I can't wait and I shall be buying it.

For those that have never seen it, please do. Even if you have to rent the discs. A lot of people have preconceived notions about Trek such as the acting, the cheap sets, the uniforms. But the episodes were groundbreaking stuff and the social commentary on the episodes was great.

My season 1 recommendations (NO SPOILERS) would be...

Those episodes are the best. I would have included a short synopsis but it's hard to keep things spoiler-free. Watch the episodes-I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

I agree with you on that. And yet, it is a good series once you get past the simplistic sets and campy tone (at times).

The box looks good. Of course, the episodes should be the selling point but the gold box and the gold discs look great.
