i'm just curious if any of you know why gates mcfadden bailed on TNG on the second season. i know dr. crusher was at some kind of school, but where did the actor go?

I couldn't find the other forum. So i'll give the answer i know, Gates Mcfadden was pregnant during the second season, that's why she left.

well i dont really know why she left for that seaon. pregnancy does make sense. it made for a great twist in the the plot. but i sure did miss DC.
