Where are the allies?

Why was it you didn't see any Vulcan, Betazoid, Andorian, or Tellarite, or any other allies of the Federation helping in the final battle or the whole war for that matter?

Im not sure! Mainly because all the other powers are quite minor, or most likely that they are all represented. I think that the Vulcans, Andorians, etc all serve in Starfleet. Then they serve on ships, etc. I know the Vulcans sure do, since if we all recall the episode "Take Me Out to the Holosuite", there was an all Vulcan crew on a starfleet ship. All the races get together, and build Starfleet ships, and beat Dominion ass with them.

Yeah they are only minor powers and wouldn't be able to do very much.

it was funny when duckat mentions that cardassians are now only a "third rate power" in the quadrant

I remember him mentioning that, although not when...But the Cardassians are a major power. They have their own ships and planets, etc. They were dumb in letting the Dominion take over, because they just stood there like, 'hey dominion, wanna come take all our stuff? we'll pretend we have a say around here still!'

Yes, they were acting like that and it went on my nerves a bit. And...Cardassians are actually less evolved than the Federation although it is true they have a lot of stuff in their possesion.

The Cardassians are as powerful as the Federation. At least, they were before the Dominion War. They threatened to go to war with the Federation several times, and they would have certainly held their own. But the war with the Klingons hurt them quite a bit, and so did the Dominion. Otherwise, I think the Cardassians are every bit as powerful as everyone else.
