Hi, I've been a browser of Star Trek forums for quite some time and have finally decided to join one. I don't know everything about Star Trek, but I do enjoy watching it very much (and I'm a trombone player so I've always liked William Riker lol).
I had an idea for a voyager plot last night so I thought I'd try to write something with it. I did this in about 20 minutes so it isn't going to be the best (still needs a little extra spice to go with it). Also, I'm not a very good writer either so there are probably some other errors in there too.
I was wondering if all of you could read it over and tell me what you think. I would really appreciate some opinions and some constructive criticism on it. Thanks!
I know at first it will seem very unlikely that this would happen...but just trust me on this one.
I uploaded it to this address...shouldn't take too long to load up...it's a wordpad document.

Woops, sorry about posting in the wrong forum (I should have read the forums a little better first). I'll be more careful in the future. Thanks!

Its good, i have too admit. Some thing are not very accurate and i don't think the kazon would invade the federation (very advanced) but its a nice scenario.
Voyager is made out of titanium? i don't think so.... and whats with Riker? he can't be only a captain, if he's still alive.
Plus i think the character of torres is good but Seven of Nine should be more...sufficient.
Who is the first commander no then, Tuvok?
But its good.

It has been several years since the the Kazon were last seen on voyager...it could be assumed that they've acquired new technology (transwarp, etc. almost anything is possible in the Star Trek universe...I think you'll just have to trust that I've got some pretty interesting things in mind for this).
I'm having it take place after Voyager got home and after Nemesis (since Riker is the Captain of the Titan)...I'm assuming with Voyager returning home they would all get extended shore-leave (but I suppose three years is a bit too much) but I was going to leave all the rankings the same (with Janeway as an Admiral of course). Do you think it would be better for me to have it take place just a few weeks after they return home (then I wouldn't have to mess around with ranks and whatnot)...I would also get rid of the Titan and use a different ship (so Riker isn't in it, not good to mix crews anyways).
It is my understanding that voyager is made of titanium and tritanium (but I'll look into it and see what I can dig up). If not titanium and tritanium I'm really not sure what it would be.
The 7 of 9 character is very hard to grip on (at least for me it is)...every line has to make perfect sense - I'm gonna try rewriting her lines a little more. I think I've got the Chakotay down pretty good though (I hope).
It's pretty hard trying to write something for Voyager when they're home (because Nemesis, etc. have to all be brought into the picture)...for me writing something while they're in the Delta Quadrant would be kinda boring (at least for me anyways)...I'm going to make some improvements to what I have thus far to correct the glaring errors. Once I get set on a stardate I shouldn't have a problem (contradicting things and getting into a timeline is my biggest problem thus far I believe).
Thanks for your post, I appreciate your time...
