I really think this is a smart move. All Star Trek series should be treated with the same care. Every Star Trek episode every to be made should be put on DVD for the fans to watch.
I just hope they do the same for The Animated Series.

I asume they will. Just look at some old movies, they put those on DVD as well. Since Star Trek is a significant part of the Sci-Fi world, it will never die.
