The united states has had reports that it will be attacked over the summer. It is a scary thought, But if they launch missles to the U.S it's over. Yes the U.S will fire back and we would all be dead.

Hmm I doubt anyone truely knows whether or not you'll be attacked. However American Independance Day is normally a day that Terrorists claim to plan attacks on, However I reckon US's defences will be prepared for any possible Threats.

Okay, I do NOT think it's a bluff--well, actually, I'm not sure, but if there IS an attack, I'll know that I'm safe because:
a) Our Military is on alert
b) Our Intelligence is getting better
c) President Bush is in office

Nobody currently with Nukes will ever fire them. They are the greatest safeguard against another world war.
If terrorists attack again, it will be a series of smaller attacks, which would probably be thwarted. Since the wars, most Islamic terrorist organisations has been mostly dismantled, and don't have the organization they're going to need to succeed.

Isnt that what people said about the weapons built for the First and Second World Wars? They ended up firing them.

Whether or not we'll be attacked, no one can really say. Will they try to attack us? Yes. Will we be able to prevent the attack threats or actions? I think so, and I hope so.
As for the nukes...I personally don't think the *countries* with nukes are in a position to fire them right at this moment. However, I wouldn't put it past Al-Qaeda--or something like them--to try if they had them.
