Just saw this movie, it was ok. It made me rather cold watching it, though. Poor NYC,

I just saw it today too. In fact,about anm hour ago we left the movie theater. It did make me cold watching it. I thought that Jack was going to get caught in the eye of the storm and not make it to Sam,then I thoough Sam was going to get caught outside in it too.

The wolf part had me holding my breath, 
It would have been batter if Jack had just woken up and it was all just a dream,
The eye's were definitely scary, was a HUGE wall of cloud, very freakish.
It's too bad we didn't get to see what happend in the end to the Professor guy and his two other co-workers. I guess we're just supposed to assume they died? Hmmmm.

I enjoyed the movie. I like those huge big budget movies full of special effects. I couldn't believe my eyes when those hugh waves came through the streets of NYC. Amazing effects. And those icebergs, they're hugh!

I just got back from the movie 3 hours ago. I liked watching when the temperatue dropped really fast and everything started freezing instantly. I also really liked the tornadoes and the huge wave. Awesome

Gosh, icebergs? I don't remember those, He has a thing for destroying NYC, hmmmm. I've been to some of those buildings,

The icebergs in the beginning of the movie, remember? When they were drilling? They were extremely large!
And yes, I do have something with destroying NYC (in movies, not in real life). All those tall buildings being crushed, amazing...

Heh! I saw it a few days ago and it was good. I must tell you, the tornado part definately reinforced my phobia of tornadoes, the tidal wave reinforced my phobia of water, and the part with the wolves had me clutching at my arm-rests with white-knuckles.

Yeah it was pretty good
I didn't think much of those wolves though...it was SO obviouse that they were fake.

Yeah...you could tell they were CGI, but I still squirmed a bit when they were chasing them on the ship...
I really enjoyed this movie. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole thing. I mean, its one of those movies that gets a 9.5/10 for being well written and having a good strong scientific base: I mean they back up all of their far fetched theories with situational scientific information. But then this movie only gets a 4.5/10 for believability...because seriously...global warming threw off the salinity in the NA current and half the world froze over...it wouldn't really happen that fast eh?
Oh well. I'd definately recommend this movie. Edge of your seat action packed intensity and hella good.

Yeah, the wolves were clearly fake, but they still made you apprehensive. In horror movies, you know that it's all fake, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't make you scared (if they scare you, that is,  ).

I know what you mean about the wolves lol. It was a pretty good film even if it did seem like one long showing of a string of special effects.
Armageddon is still my disaster movie-fave though!

It does look a good movie even though I'm not the biggest fan of those types of movies.
As someone who isn't overkeen on CGI, the effects do look good. It's the type of movie which makes you think too.
What are the characters like? Are they bland stereotypes or do they elicit emotion from the audience?

I'd actually say bland stereotypes.....
They didn't exactly make me feel any sympathy for them, or worry about them, etc.
