He said he was. Publicly. Whether or not he actually could remains to be seen.

As far as i know they didn't find weapons, at least not a sufficient amount to justify going to war for. I guess it is obvious that i don't watch the news that much. Being a teen news isn't that high up on my list of priorities.

LINK, I think that that's enough to justify a war. Mustard gas was a weapon banned in Iraq by the UN.

Why don't you try watching the news a little more. It is obvious from your post that you do not, or if you do, it is slanted, and has a spin on it. And under international law, we DID have the right to go to war with him, he violated UN policy 17 times I beleive it was. Try watching the news, and also INVESTIGATING what they tell you.

If we did have the right to go to war with him why weren't we backed by the UN? I'm not saying that he didn't violate UN policy, but obviously the UN didn't consider that enough for us to start a war.

The UN was debating about the war, I believe. The never said that they didn't support it, we simply started it without their approval

Well, I'm not sure about British sentiments, but in the US, everyone supported the war on terror, when it began.

There were massive marches here to show that people didn't want the war. I'm not sure exactly how many but there were quite a few. But Blair being Blair takes the country to war against everyones wishes.

There are always going to be treehuggers, but the majority of people in the US were for the war.
