PostFri Jun 04, 2004 1:49 pm    Enterprise Comic

Is there an Enterprise comic and if so, who publishes it?

I'm confused about who owns the rights to Trek. I believe that both DC and Marvel have had the licence to publish Trek adventures in the past. Didn't DC publish a comic based around TOS in the 80's? And didn't Marvel get the licence for TNG and DS9? Or was it Dark Horse? I really can't remember.

Any help would be appreciated. I basically want to know which comic company (if any) owns the rights to Trek, specifically Enterprise.

Thank you.

Are the characters in the official comic well drawn?

My brief research has shown that there is no current Trek comic.

I've been able to find out a little in the past and refresh my memory a little.

I believe it was DC Comics who owned the license for the most part. They had a Trek comic published from February 1984-November 1988 and then a series from 1989-1996. DC also published the movie adaptions for various Trek movies.

Malibu/Marvel Comics did a DSN comic from September 1993-January 1996. But I am sure other companies have had the licence too.

I really must research this more.
