As I said earlier, I would die and let my baby live, I will not kill. It might see crazy to people who don't understand or who believe in murder of an innocent baby.

What he said was that there was no way either of you would survive if the pregnancy continued. As for me,unless there is a medical reason and the baby wouldn't survive outside th womb,I'm 100% against abortion. Medical reason where the baby wouldn't survive would be different. My mother, who is against abortion, had one about 15 almost 16 years ago. The reason she did is because my sister(found out afterwards) had no brain and wouldn't survive. If she went through the pregnancy,I could have lost her and my sister, instead of just one. She thought of the consequences and thought it would be the best thing, even though she wasn't happy. She even had to be held back when someone told her that they were getting an abortion because they just didn't want the child.

Well it's like this, we all not gonna agree and why fight. We disagree and nobody is going to change each other minds. Peace.

Yep, thats it Josi. If there is no chance of surviving the pregnacy, why die? Think of all the unnecessary suffering your husband and children etc would have to go through.

It is wrong in my opinion cause you don't know if the baby feels pain, how do you know, you don't know what the baby feels pain. All you think of is that women should have the right to kill. Where is people morals? Has it gone out the window? In my opinion it has. In my opinion people have lost a conscience. In my opinion people don't know from what's right and what's wrong anymore. All they care about is killing innocent babies.
Noticing I am not angry while writing this. Stating my opinion.

is there any real proof that the fetus feels pain? I mean if you shock it with a stun stick will it jump up and down like a jumping bean? I don't think it will untill it has the ability to know where it is I don't think it feels pain so I feel that if a mother wants to get a abortion who are we to say no?

So what? So it doesn't feel pain--it doesn't mean it should be killed.
And kmma, your last post makes it sound like you think that there should be no law illegalizing abortions--you might want to fix that.

If it doesn't feel pain than you should have the right to abort it but the right should extend to a certin age limit I would say just before it starts to know where it is and starts to feel pain than you shouldn't be able to get rid of it once it has that awareness.

Now, what difference does that really make? What, you feel bad about ending its life simply because it'll cry and squirm, and you'll see what you've really done?
That fetus that is killed loses it's chance at life. It may not be able to feel the pain, but the effect is exactly the same as if you were to kill a child who's already taken a breath as compared with one that has not.

I don't know if the fetus would suffer pain. My guess is however that your husband and children would suffer a hell of a lot more pain.

I doubt it very much.

At what point would you then consider ending it's life wrong. 5 months after conceiving? 3 months? 1 month? 1 week?

Babies in the mothers womb react to outside stimuli.
Again, the joining of two cells is new life, but if you are absolutely determined to abort, then get yourself a perscription of the "morning after" pill. (Which, is becoming readily available now.)

Some extremists were trying to get the morning after pill banned here... but since about 20% of pregnancies are spontainously aborted before the mother even realises she's pregnant it didn't work.
In the UK, you can get the morning after pill from doctors, family planning clinics (both for free) and buy it from a pharmacy if you're over sixteen.
