I've read about 7 Books on the Conflict in the past year.
2 Books on the Foundation of Israel and I've got 9 Documentaries that look into the foundations of the Conflict. I'd quite like to think I'm well informed on the situation. The Bias I have is unerasable, as is the Bias of many Christians and any Jews or Muslims on this forum. As a Muslim I obviously feel strongly for the Palestinian group and the cause that they fight.
I did once believe strongly in fighting the core of Xenophobia, but from Travelling the Middle East and Africa. I realise that Racism is unavoidable anyone can grow up to be Racist or Prejudice towards a certain group due to their surroundings or current affairs in their region.

That I can understand. However, the Israeli, Palestinian situation isn't one that this topic will solve. It is a difficult situation. However Israel was bought by the jews.
I'd like to end my participation in this discussion with something that happened in Libya.
Quote: | When Colonel Ghadaffi was urged by his people to do something about the Palestinian conflict, he replied:
You are right, we must do something about this situation. If everyone gives the government 40% of their salary, we'll start tomorrow.
Noone ever asked him again.... |
I guess all of us are biased in a certain way regarding this conflict, however to most, our own lives are the priority.

The Coptic Christian Community in Egypt is 20%, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is looked after by an Arab Muslim Family to keep the peace between sects.

First of all:
The Copts in Egypt have been discriminated against for a long time (I know some of them). As for the rest, I think it's the extremists and the terrorists who totally don't mind Islam being hated all over the world.
We fight terrorism in whichever way we can, how would anyone like finding it on their own doorstep?
Does any Muslim identify themselves with the Palestinians? The fact is that most Arab countries want nothing to do with them and deport them whenever they can, is this without a reaon?
And people who are not muslim, you hear on the news each day about some terrorism somewhere... Does that mean all the Muslims who hear about it cheer?
I think the "normal" Muslims should let their voice be heard and not let the terrorists speak for all of them. There are loads of Muslims living in western countries, if they see those countries as their enemy, why do they come to live here? And if they don't, why not say so????
I think the worst mistake the Arab world makes, is let the few speak for the many, any Muslim that thinks otherwise should stand up and say it.

This is starting to get a little too personal, if you PM me your questions I'll answer them but I prefer not entering religious and moral discussion to this extent in World News Debates, they get a little....tedious at times.
