This is crazy! Try to figure out why there is a hole there!

If you look at the top figure, you'll notice that it's not a real triangle. The total length is 13 units and it's height is 5 units. So the total area should be 32.5 squared units.

However, the area of the red triangle is 8x3/2=12
dark green: 5x2/2=5
orange: 7
light green: 8
This adds up to 32 and not 32.5.

If you calculate the area of the bottom triangle it is 13x5/2 minus that 1 unit which makes 31.5 squared units.

The large triangles just look like triangle but they're not...
