I'm that other person.
People want higher post counts. To get them, they spam away. Getting rid of the post counts basically stops people who post just to see how much they can post in a day.

I suppose we should just leave it alone, but it doesn't really matter-I mean-a number is a number is a number, right? It's up to Morphy...and he'll probably leave it the way it is now. There's not much "to do" with it. I agree, it inspires me to post a bit more, but other than that, I couldn't care less about "how" many posts I have on STV!

I don't really care...I used to care about my post count alot...and count the posts untill i got promoted....but now that I am over 1000, I dont care, and I could not tell you how many posts I have without lookin.

Same here. Someone would ask me how many post I have I would have to go back and look. Guess leave it as it is.
