Sure. I don't go along with the "Rapture." I go 'Chapter by chapter, verse by verse' when I study. No extras, no preachers "Explaining" things to me, I was taught how to teach myself--or rather, how to let the bible speak for itself. (Even though I was taught how to study through the Shepherd's Chapel, which I do study with, but this is how it's done even when I listen to the pastor) I've yet to find where it says 'Rapture' or where it's mentioned. The verse it was taken from, which was something about being 'Caught up in the cloud' was not reffering to anything like this. (The verse was from first Corinthians, second Corinthians clarified it) The "Rapture", so it is called, first came about in the 1820's from a woman who had been mentally ill that claimed God told her of the "Great Rapture." They found a couple conspicuous little verses, strung 'em together, and called it truth. Go through the seals, the trumps, the return, the thousand years that God will reign, find me Rapture. Find me anything about being taken up in a cloud, and the 'Non-Believers' being left. Go through the timeline. It's not there.
The 4000 people I was talking about was a meeting I went to of people who believe the same, we met in Missouri last month, it's a yearly thing for passover. There's lots of them around the world, you just don't always hear about them.

First of all, I find it very offensive that you would compare the wind to God in that manner. |
Read my post again CAREFULLY.

You "know" that God exists because he "speaks" to you and also looks after you. In times of trouble his presence helps you though. |
I guess the fact that I don't hear him by magic makes me a non-believer of him.
