Personally, as you can see with the avatar and banner, I LOVE Kira Nerys! She is one of most favorite characters in Star Trek period.

Yes, I like her too. Her character was well developed and she seemed like a trustworthy person.
I liked her better in the later seasons, like season 3 and onwards. During the first two seasons, Kira seemed to be mean. I never liked it when Kira barked Sisko's head off.

She had her moments but all in all I was frustrated with her. She always seemed ready to fly off the handle before having all the pertinent information or having thought her actions through. The later seasons of DS9 she started to grow on me though.

She's okay, I said yes, but it's really a kind off. I think she is nice, yes, but I just don't like her much. It's kinda hard to explain.

She's nice and she likes to commit, but if we talk about hotness, Ro Laren is the hottest!

Kira's ok, but she can be rather silly, when it comes to the prophets. Such as the episode where the Bajoran lady destroyed the school. Kira said that Mrs. O'Brien was being blasphemous for teaching about the scinece of the wormhole,

Yeah, the whole religious thing didn't go well for her character. I thought it showed a sign of weakness and she always portrayed herself as strong.

Kira is beautiful! Nana Visitor is beautiful. You should have seen her when she was younger in the Knight Rider episode "Hills of Fire".
As for the character, I liked her a lot. Maybe because she so much reminded me of someone I used to work with, a woman named Lindsay who had so many similarities to Kira.
When you think about it, DS9 had plenty of characters who we could identify with. I think we've all known people like Quark, Sisko and Kira.

I think every series had a certain character who I could identify with, Star Trek just intoxicates me like that for some reason, .

Kira definitely has to be the weakest character on DS9. Too bad they spent so much time with her. They even added a relationship thingy with Odo to spice up her character.

And don't forget she was barefoot in at least two episodes?
Also, I think Kira would have been an interesting character in either TNG or VOY.

Dude, Kira's awesome. I admire her piety and her ability to take charge--I think she's a wonderful example of how cool Star Trek women can be if they're written correctly.

Kira was a great charecter. I disagree about the statement that her faith in the prophets made her weak. If anything it showed she had a strong spirtual side. Why is she being silly about mrs. O'brien? She believes the prophets are not wormhole aliens. She believed them to be something more.

I loved Kira and hear faith into the Prophets! She was an outstanding character. She melted in Odo's arms
