Well my car a honda civic was broken into at 3:00am in the mourning and the thief took my $240 pioneer radio. I looked at the a small trail of the broken glass at 8:00am and noticed it leading towards at one of the my neighbors house. So I suspect the neighbor is the thief...
So what should I do?

Easy. Call the cops......
Or go over to his house with a baseball bat and theaten to knock his head in unless he returns it
But yeah, call the cops, and tell them about the glass trail.

I agree with Val. I think you should call the police and explain the situation, telling them you suspect it's the neighbor; other than the trail of glass, you don't really have any other evidence, so I would suggest you not outright accuse them - for the moment, at least.

It's possible that the thieves walked in the direction of your neighbours ad therefor you might think the neighbour took it?
Are you in some kind of a fight with your neighbours?

Hang on, they broke in just to nick a $240 head unit? Thats bogus!
If there is a glass trail to your neighbours house... well I think that says it all. Not a very professional operation on your neighbours part. I think I would also go with the baseball bat idea.

Well I say the right thing is to go and call the police but knowing me I would go and beat the person to a pulp than call the police.

I think you should call the police. You never know, the theives could have tried to break in there, and it wouldn't be the best thing to go to their house and threaten them with a baseball ball if that was the case...yet.
