Paris walked onto the bridge. "I want the shields up, and all crew members to have a weapon." The alert went up on the Bridge. "Red Alert, all hands to battlestations. Prepare to repel boarders." The alert continued to go. "Sir, we can't put the shields up, were in the Cardassian ship." said Torres. "Good point, Commander." said Paris. "Sir, the Cardassians are beaming aboard." said Reese. Suddenly the bridge was lit up as a transporter activated. The bridge erupted into fire as the crew and the Cardassians exchanged fire. "Computer! Activate forcefields around all intruders!" yelled Paris. The forcefileds went up as the ship jerked free of the Cardassian ship. "Recall the shuttles, and then beam the Cardasssians off of the ship." said Paris. Just as the Cardassians were beamed off, the Sovereign came over and took the Cardassian ship in a tractor beam. "Well, now that thats over, maybe we can get some leave here." said Calhoun. "You wish, Mac." said Reese. "Ah well. We needed to refit this ship anyway." said Torres. "You know, you're right." said Paris.

The crew of the Galaxia all received sure-leave, except for Paris and Torres, who had to find out what would happen to the ship. They were walking through the Academy and were chatting before they got the announcment they were waiting for. "I remeber these classes." said Paris. "Yes, sir. I also remember the pain of going through each and every one of these classes." said Torres. "Come on, it wasn't that bad." replied Paris. "I guess your right, but the Kobyashimaru was a huge pain. The Romulans killed me within three minutes." said Torres. "Ouch. Better than I did. I tried drifting in with all power down, and boom, thirty seconds later, death." said Paris. Over the comm system, they heard "Would Captain Paris and Commander Torres please report to the Admiral's office?" "Well, I guess that's our cue." said Torres. They walked up to Admiral Paris' office, where they received word that the Galaxia was going to be recommisioned as a different ship, and they would receive the USS Galaxia B NCC-74657, a Sovereign class vessel.
