...
it's actually quite slow compared to the to the theme tunes on the other series
but when u watch it when the theme tunes on it's al little wierd in the first few seasons because you see a runabout fly near one of the stations docking rings heading away from the wormhole, THEN the worm hole opens but nothin is going through it...i thought that was a little strange

Heh. It gets better in the later Seasons though.. They speed it up and add more of a "Rock" type of beat to it.. There is also the addition of the Defiant.

I like every Trek show's theme song except for Enterprise, the singing's a tad too much.

I really like the theme tune. I've also played it before on the instrument that it's played on in the, well, theme tune. (French Horn for those who don't know )

They may not get it where they live, or not have cable/sattelite.

Maybe you should download an episode (legally, of course ) It's my second favourite theme tune after Voyager.

I like the tune in DS9, but I like the one in Voyager the most. It just...rules!

Well, I think I can clear up the whole Wormhole-opening-without-anything-flying-through-it mystery. I assumed that the runabout (Defiant in the later series) actually goes through the wormhole, but the wormhole is so large compared to the Defiant that you can't see the ship. I assumed this because in the episode where the Jem'Hadar fleet comes through it, there were 50 ships one by another- at least -through the diameter of the wormhole, so it must be quite large.

See? This is what im talking about. You don't make good arguments. You simply say one "rules" and one doesn't.

If you can ever find the 4 minute "Concert Version" of the DS9 theme, you will be doing yourself a favour. I felt the Concert Version did the theme a LOT of sweet justice as it made me appreciate the DS9 opening more.

I Think the DS9 theme song is soothing. I love the shot of the wormhole opening up during the opening sequance.

When the Defiant flies through it, right? Yeah, the view is cool! It's so reconciliative.

Yeah I agree. When the Defiant flys through it, the wormhole looks cool. Although I dont like how the VOY theme song is so close to the DS9. I used to get them confused.
