What do you think Bush does? He bashes just as much as Kerry does thats what the purpose of these commericals is its to make the other person look as crapy as they possibly can.
Oh and Kmma I am evil very evil j/k *tries to give the evil eye but fails.* |
This is true. What I'm talking about are the issues. I haven't heard a heck of a lot out of Kerry about why to vote for him, except that he's NOT Bush. I put a comment in the quote RM has of me on the first post, that hey, I could be wrong. I could be watching the wrong speeches at the wrong times, and missing whatever his grand plans are to "Fix" things. But so far, I see a LOT of Bush bashing from him, and few plans. I see Bush trying to get ideas, trying to defend himself based on ISSUES.
Again, I never rule out that there's always the possibility I could be wrong. I need to read more, I'll freely say that. So if I'm wrong, and I find that out, I'll admit to it; fair? I have to go to school, so this lovely little exchange will have to continue at a later time...

Kerry has spoken out on lots of issues, Foreign Policy, our Economy, Education, etc.
Also, we should be debating issues, not throwing in personal gripes on why we dont like Rep. or Dems.
Getting to the issue of Kerry's book, I'm guessing you mean the ultra-rare to find "The New Soldier" book. Kerry and those vets did nothing more then many others have done. They showed things others wouldn't.

Yes, things he has now decided to renege on. Great man that he is. "They weren't my medals, they were my RIBBONS!" "I make no distinction between medals and ribbons." "They weren't even my medals, they were given to me by other vets." Please, Mr. Kerry, pick one before embarrassing yourself further.

Okay, I'm trying to be specific here, but it's not quite easy to remember...
A couple weekends ago John Kerry was on Meet the Press with Tim Russert and ALL HE DID WAS LIE, pretty much.
He lied about there not being a coalition, lied about the $87 billion being different legislations, and, well, I'm gonna look up the transcript and tell you all...

I dont care how rare it is to find, he wrote it! The cover is a disgusting use of his American freedoms. It is MOCKING Iwo-Jima, and has hippies carrying the flag UPSIDE DOWN, there are other ways of showing what others wouldn't in a more appropriate manner. But this book crossed the line by alot.

Now, too often President Bush has been called "stupid" or un-intelligent by many Liberals, and when I say the truth, "How could he have graduated from Yale and Harvard Business school if he was STUPID? Huh?"
They reply, "He had the money--he's rich."
Well, 1st off, I believe that John Kerry has more money than Bush, and that it is ridiculous to make such claims that one could GRADUATE from such a PRESIGOUS school through MONEY! Disgusting...What do you think?
(Oh, and I'm not so sure if it's BOTH schools that he's graduated from, I've heard both, so...)

Quote: | The President's recent approach to the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln resulted in the following: In this case the standard response from the pilot of plane carrying the President would have been "Lincoln, Navy One, 12,500 lbs, Roger Ball" meaning I have the ball in sight and am on glide path (for a safe landing the weight is given for setting the correct braking tension of the arresting gear cables).
No wonder the military appreciates and likes the man! The President's recent approach to the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln resulted in the following:
"Navy One" was on final approach for trap aboard CVN ABRAHAM LINCOLN . . . the President making the radio call said:
"Lincoln, Navy One, 12,500 lbs, I have the balls,"
His call brought down the house on the carrier. |
Just thought I'd share,

(or "Why I Do What I Do")
I'm on the radio 7 hours a day talking to fellow citizens from across this great land of ours. By the end of the week, I'm exhausted yet I continue day after day, week after week, year after year. Why? Because I believe that the only way to improve our community, state, and nation is through honest (and at times brutally honest) discussion. Sometimes that means people (including myself) will be made uncomfortable as ideas are challenged. But it's worth it! In fact, when compared to what our forefathers endured, it's a very small price to pay for a better tomorrow.
|
I see no problem with that comparison.

Here's some bad things Bush has done: He proposed a HORRIFIC immigration proposal, spent to much money, and there are a few other things that I can't remember of the top of my head right now...

Quote: | Have you ever happened to look at the label of a jar of Heinz sandwich slice pickles? Yep... "Made in Mexico".
Check some of your Heinz products.
Sen. John Kerry keeps talking about U.S. corporations leaving this country and setting up shop in foreign *beep* taking thousands of jobs with them. He is right, becuase that has happened. However, he is trying to blame it on George W. Bush. As far as I know, Bush has not moved one factory out of this country because he is not th owner of a single factory.
That cannot be said about Kerry and his wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Kerrys own 32 factories in Europe and 18 in Asia and the Pacific. In addition, their company, the Heinz Company, leases four factories in Europe and four in Asia. Also, they own 27 factories in North America, some of which are in Mexico and the Caribbean. I wonder how many hundreds of American workers lost their jobs when these plants relocated in foreign countries. I also wonder if the workers in Mexico and Asia are paid the same wages and benefits as the workers in the United States.
Of course their not. However, Kerry demands that other companies tht relocate should pay the same benefits they did in the U.S. Why does he not demand this of the Heinz Company, since he is married to the owner? If Kerry is elected, will he and his wife close all those foreign factories and bring all those jobs back to America? Of course they won't. They're making millions off that cheap labor.

Now I don't think that he has any right to rampage about this because of this, but I have to defend him to a point. UGH!, but, well, Ketchup is a perishable food, hence, well, there has to be factories and such in other countries...
I am a disgrace. But this goes to show, hopefully, that I DEAL IN TRUTH and DON'T SPIN...

The USA, if it so chose, could be entirely self-sustaining. And ketchup, etc..., can last up to a year on the shelf. There are Americans that grow crops of tomatoes, cucumbers, w/e. Kerry et al merely went to where it would be cheaper.

Quote: | Chapter 1: The begining of the empire
It all started on November 6th, 2000 in Washington DC which was the capitol of our beauitful country we were voting in a new president. Our Choices George W. Bush or Al Gore. Bush was a republician and Gore was a Democrat. We had knowledge of Bush from his father who was also a former president his big mark in history was that he sent out troops into to Kuwait to stop Sadam Husain from taking the oil that Kuwait was producing in other words it was just another madman wanting to take over and bully his neighbors well our troops were succesfull in driving off Sadam from Kuwait fast forword 10 years now its 2000 and we are voting in our president it went for weeks because of Florida messing up. When it was all said and done Bush came though well things went back to normal. Little did I know that this was the begining of the end. The change wasn't quick but it was there say good bye to United states of america and hello to Bushes United Empire. To be continued. Author: Jeff Miller |
