I think they should be allowed to pray....if its in a room way in the back of the school where I don't have to go anywhere near. Than they can pray.

We've got a prayer room at college and i've never used it because i'm not christian, (I'm wiccan) but i know a few people who do use it and they say its really helped them because its all multi faith in their, plus we have a chaplain guy who comes in and anyone from any religion can talk to him

I think a Prayer or "Spiritual Reflection" room would be quite a good thing to have in Schools as long as it serviced the Pupils of all major faiths.

And where would you place the smoking room? Or is it just people praying that scare you?

Prayer room = trouble.....(although I do like the idea)

A. There would be students doing other things besides praying

B. There would have to be teachers supervising...one more inconvienience for them.
