In case you were wondering how mechanized war has become...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=1395585
This is happening every single day, seven days a week: a conveyor
belt of coffins arriving at Dover Air force Base. The American people
have not seen ONE photo of arriving coffins from Iraq, thanks to the
mainstream media/White House propaganda machine. Bush has attended not ONE funeral of a fallen soldier from Iraq. Here is one very very sad depiction of the real cost of this horrible and unnecessary war. Please pass this link around...

The Media is already spinning this enough to make Iraq seem horrible--that's all most Media outlets say. And it is the MAINSTREAM MEDIA THAT IS DOING THIS. And I believe that he did attend a funeral or 2. I'm not positive, but I believe he did.

I think we can all at leaset agree that all war is horrible. I'm not sayng war never has a possitive effect, just that it sucks for everyone.

"Let him who desires peace prepare for war."
-- Originally Said by 4th Century Roman Military Writer Vegetius
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: The decayed and degraded sense of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks nothing is worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing for which he cares about more than his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

I can agree with that, but the Media should take some lessons from FOX NEWS and give a more balanced approach.

The person who took the photo of the multiple coffins actually got fired.

Are you talking local news? I'm talking non-biased... They are definitely not "Bush bashers--" CNN is the MOST Bush-Bashing network on TV...And if they are the most "Bush Bashing," why do MOST LIBERALS that I've met say that FOX NEWS is VERY Republican? I think it's balanced--they don't.
