What are/were your favorite Cartoons? My first favorite would have to be Scooby-Doo.

Most of the cartoons I watch are classified as anime: Witch Hunter Robin, Rurouni Kenshin, Poltergeist Report (also known as Yu Yu Hakusho), .Hack//Sign, and recently Inuyasha. I've watched Cardcaptors, but I like the manga better. I think the only cartoon I watch that's not Japanese anime is Kim Possible, but I rarely watch that anyway.

It's on Toonami at, like, 23:30 or something, so I don't get to watch it often.

I love cartoons! They're great, it reminds me of my early childhood. I can watch cartoons every day!

My favorite cartoon would be Tom & Jerry. They are just classic, it's so fun to watch. Others I like: Scooby-Doo, Sylvester & Tweety, The Roadrunner, ...

(never really got into anime)

And who doesn't like Sponge Bob? Nobody, . I think it is a VERY trippy show and really weird to watch after you've been drinking, .

^I agree with Josi. Spongebob isn't the most plotfully interesting show.

Spongebob is evil.

I liked Scooby-doo.. Looney Toons. The old ones. And most anime I used to just absorb no matter what. I've gotten a little more picky. They've got to at least have a plot now. And "decent" art. Meaning if it's worse then mine. (Hard to imagine.) I won't watch it.

^Do you know where to find anime movies, like the first and second YYH movies, preferably with English or Chinese?

It doesn't. Only 13 episodes were ever made, and that was back in about 1987. It's coming out on DVD soon though.

Anime is horrible. It is basically cartoons that have people with huge eyes, mouths that can go from small to huge in two seconds, and when they are jumping or moving fast, it is just a colorful blur.

BTW: I like to watch Garfield, but I hate Spongebob.

^You're lumping all anime together, and that's not fair. It's not that I don't like Garfield or Sponge Bob; it's just that they don't really have a purpose.

Two points.

1. I don't think I mentioned Garfield or Spongebob in my criticism of anime, and
2. I wasn't aware there are different types of anime.

^Okay, first off, I mentioned Garfield and Sponge Bob because some people like them; you yourself said you liked Garfield, and someone else said they liked Sponge Bob. I do not consider that . . . stuff . . . anime, nor will I ever. And I think you aren't aware of quite a few things, mostly because you seem to shut yourself off to those possibilities with your biased prejudgments.

Pffft, there was one ep of Garfield that made me cry, When they were taking Odie to be put down, (he'd been caught by the dog catcher, even Garfield cried)
Garfields purpose is to entertain. And it does.

^That's true. I was actually referring to plot, but I didn't say so b/c I thought I'd already said that enough. I just like watching more complex stories as well as good artistic ability, which anime provides.
