PostMon Apr 19, 2004 2:19 pm    Hellboy - Kill Bill Volume 2- The Punisher - Van Helsing

Hellboy
I wasnt impressed despite the good ratings it got, seriously Comic Book movies are starting to bore me except (X-Men) of course.

Kill Bill Volume 2
It is an awesome movie, Quentin Tarantino knows his kung fu well. A must watch film for anyone who likes lots and lots of action.

The Punisher
Well this movie is not going to be good (my opinion) because John Travolta plays the same character as the one he played on the movie "Swordfish" I prefer the old punisher with Christopher Lambert.

Van Helsing
This should be a real good movie no doubt. Why should you watch it? Well if you like vampire killings, and monster hunting then this is the movie for you.

Aires May 5 on Theaters all across America...

Van Helsing looks very cool from the previews.

I'd like to finish up Kill Bill in the mean time though.

Are the Kill Bill Volumes any good? I mean, what exactly is the storyline in these movies?

Uma gets shot in the head on her wedding day by her friends. So later, after she recovers, she goes out and kills the people who tried to murder her, or something like that.

Quentin Tarantino is a foot fetishist and it's said that Kill Bill has a long scene of Uma Thurman trying to get some feeling in her toes. A long scene apparantly. Anyone seen the scene?

I'm looking forward to The Punisher, I liked the 1989 movie with Dolph Lungdren but I'm sure this one'll be good too. I always liked the comic character.

Van Helsing should be good, I think Hugh Jackman has a real good future in movies after his performances so far.

Kill Bill just seems like the worst crap-movie ever done. Additionally, I have never liked Kung Fu or any other martial arts, for that matter, so I doubt this movie will be an exception.

I've always believed Martial Arts movies are an acquired taste. I don't mind them...but only in moderation.

Apart from Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon which was a fantastic film, even today.

Apart from knowing what the character is like, I didn't really know much about hellboy when I seen it, but I liked it, it was worth watching and pretty funny too

Kill Bill is an awesome movie... Uma Thurman is cool as an action hero

What's wrong with Kung Fu?

Kill Bill has more sword fighting than actual Kung Fu.

OMG. You so totally just butchered the plot. If I had a gun I'd shoot you in the foot.

The whole thing is Uma seeking her revenge on those who tired to kill her...and killed her husband and unborn child. She was a member of the Deadly Viper Assassin Squad...they were assassins believe it or not...

And its not kung fu exactly...they fight with katana's in one part...knives in the other (Vol. 1). Its a lot of action fighting. More Kung Fu comes along in Vol.2

I mean the whole movie starts out with like the best quote ever!
"Revenge is a dish best served cold."
--Old Klingon Proverb

That's just hella cool. Tarantino is a master.

I saw the movie a few days ago. I really liked it alot, but I didn't like it when Budd was bit by the snake ! And I hate that B!tch who gave Budd the money and got the snake to bite him.

I caught Hellboy on DVD this weekend. I thought it was more than I expected and it was very entertaining. My friends say it was bad, but I disagree. Hellboy's attitude is cool and funny.

I haven't seen Hellboy, but I'd like to. It looks amusing. I remember the commercial where he's hangin' onto a subway train or something like that and someone's hittin' him with a fire extinguisher or something to get him to let go and he's like, "Hey! I'm on your side!" That just looks funny. I'd like to see it. I have seen Van Helsing, and I LOVED it! It was great!
