^lol ^^well, sure why not? maybe not forever, but it would have left it open for at least a movie. I'd rather have seen Voyager get home on the big screen. Oh well. nm we can do I guess.

Just finished the first book and am almost done w/ Farther Shore. I don't mind them. It's a nice explanation of what came next, sure there is stuff I'd like to see differant, but I am not the writer so it's not up to me.

lol, yeah, and have a nice little "Star Trek" adventure on the way. You know, getting shot at with "phasers" as the crowd gets a little to violent. Hey, count me in

i read Homecoming in like 3 days and i thought it was brilliant but for some reason i just cant get into the Farther shore book i have been like readin a one chapter tops a day ........
that was well grose wen B'Elanna was throwin rocks at that beast and it was describing the sound as the rocks cracked its skull ewwwww
i think that the bits when it is talkin about a child when it like goes back to when they were children...... i think that on like one part they are talkin about B'Elanna beause it says about the way that she gets angry and doesnt talk to people and i think the others are bout Janeway cus that section is all about wat janeway is thinkin about.....

yeah, I guess I can remember it taking me a while to get through The Farther Shore, but I don't think it was the inferior book or anything... because the second half I got through really fast

Neither was all that interesting to me, they lacked depth.

I've now got to what i suppose you were refering to as being the plot twist...... about Libby's boss being the BORG QUEEN but i have just anoyed myself a great deal by reading one of the last pages of the book when B'Elanna comes back and sees Tom and she says her mother is dead and that she wants to live on Borethor !!!!!!!!!!!!! aaaarrgghhhh why did i do that............. im sooo stupid !

Thats why I prefer the Star Wars books - for the most part, they're alot better.

That only works if you like Star Wars though

Looks like a few more Voyager books have been announced including an anthology and a trilogy set during the events of the series itself rather than after the series had concluded (ie. Homecoming, Farther Shore, Spirit Walk duology). According to www.psiphi.org/ they are called "String Theory"...sounds interesting

Oh, she so is. If only she could come up with plots that aren't boring and simply repetitive. Maybe a bus will hit her and we'll all be spared another horrific crime against literature.

Golden's Homecoming book is much better than the Farther Shore...I hated how Janeway gives Voyager to Chakotay.....GRRR!!! NO VOY WITHOUT JANEWAY! Anyway.....Christie Golden made The Farther Shore boring.....erm---I'm sure someone on STV could write a better "What Comes Next For Voyager's Crew" novel.... ((ME)) lol or perhaps IntrepidisMe could? lol Alright, there were pluses and minuses to Golden's work, but at least she gave it a shot, right?? At least we got more than Voyager heading for Earth, "Mr. Paris, set a course-for home." and then credits rolling, eh??? eh??
