Sears Tower & Library Tower were Al Queda's next target!

After 911, the Sears Tower & Library Tower in Chicago were the next targets for Al Queda, said a top Al Queda official during interrigation.
But due to President Bush's GREAT response to terrorism, they called it off, he said.

I found this out just moments ago while watching FOX NEWS' Fox Report!

I attack like sept.11th I doubt will happen in the US for a verry long time.The security in the US is far to high.For all we know the FBI could have this website buged just watching for any suspicious behavour.When the terrorists strike like that again it wont be for a looong time.

I think it is excellent that those attacks were halted, but I think it premature to assume that just because Bush was at the helm they were prevented. Still, I applaud the successful effort of all the individuals involved to prevent those attacks.

I don't think anouther attack will be too far off. Just wait until we have our guard down again... No one thought 911 could ever happen to us, so we were an easy target.

Yes when the US lets its Gaurd down it will happen again.Though I dont think the US will let there gaurd down for awhile.

There was also due to be a number of attacks on Halloween in 2002. One of my mum's friends friend was going to be married to someone. They vanished though, and she got a phone call a few days later. The man who was missing had called her. During the call he told her to keep away from all shopping malls on Halloween. She then told this to the FBI and presumably they stopped it. I won't mention any names to do with this for two reasons, their security and also I don't actually know them, my mum does.

another attack like 9/11 wont happen for a long time. In the Past we were all too laid back in a time of prosperity, Our guard was down and we were vulnerable.

Then 9/11 happened. After, America took a good look at itself and changed. We will never let our guard down to let something like that happen again.

Also, Dont put down us Democrats just because we have different beliefs in what should be done. Bush had 4 years to prove he was a great President, He didn't do it. So now it's time to let Kerry try his hand at things.

And I read about the Sears Tower & Library Tower in Chicago being targets in the Boston Herald, which is in no way affiliated with Fox News.
