What exactly would happen to a Trill (with a symbiote) when getting assimilated? In other words, would the symbiote get assimilated as well as the Trill?

The way I see it, when a host is joined with a symbiont, those two minds become one. So in fact, there's only one mind, not two. The new person that is created or born or whatever will be assimilated.

I dont know...I dont think a Trill has ever been assimilated....I guess they both get tied in to the collective or maybe the trill is surgically removed?
