WOW!!! WHen I first posted this, I never thought it would get to be four pages so quickly!!!
To answer an earlier question; Yes, I have read the entire Bible.
It is my understanding that it is up to GOD to condem, and/or decide who is worthy of him, not up to us. In fact, it is a sin to try to play God and say who is or is not worthy.
Therefore, this should really not be about religion.

OK, this topic was originally about the President's proposed mariage amendment.
One question: "WHAT DOES GOD HAVE TO DO WITH MY OR ANYONE ELSES MARRIAGE?"

OK, a lot of people marry in churches, but what has God got to do with all the marriages that aren't religious?

It has to do with people's personal beliefs... Something I thought glaringly obvious, myself. Any time you seriously ask someone what they think, their religion, or lack thereof, is going to come into play. It is afterall part of what makes us who we are.

Yes, but that's why God has laid out commandments for us to follow. Also it's not so that we can condemn others, but rather so we do what is right. Just because someone seems to be better than someone else it doesn't mean that they are better than someone esle. I know people who are "very good Christians" yet it's just the way they act, and they aren't actualy Christians.

Well I did not say I was better than anyone else just wanted ya''ll to read the bible cause obivous you can not read. Yes, God is against homsexuality. He loves the sinner but not the sin. I was not trying to judge but stating facts from God's word. People who are not saved can not see what God's word for what it really is no I am throwing no stones.
Yes, this world needs Jesus in their hearts. I hope Jesus return one day and then everybody will see the truth for what it is.
I don't know when his return is, nobody knows. He will come when we all not expecting him to. THen what will all of you do? It will be too late to repent. Common sense will tell read between the lines.
If you misread what I am saying then you need to go back to school and learn how to read again.

I say let the gays marry. I don't see how it has to do with me or any other heterosexual ... this is a private matter between two people. And why amend the Constitution over this? There's no scientific or economic reason to oppose gay marriage. The only reason behind the "defense of marriage" is religion. I don't think we should base our laws solely on religous objections. "But what about the Christian heritage we inherited from the Fathers of Our Country?" you might ask but I don't buy that argument. I'd hardly call that bunch of Free Masons who valued Reason over Divinity Christian warriors and besides this is a capitalist state where the almight Dollar is the choice deity.

T Dean like it is always says Money is the root of all evil.
If they marry when Christ returns they will be judged by our Lord andsavior. Thats the bottom line. If they want to live like that let them. Just stating facts here.

Sure, religion is against gay marriages, but it has been scientifically proven that AIDS and other STD's are a lot more common in gay people. Also babies that are born by gay women are deformed a lot more than from hetrosexuals.

And if you wondering what this world needs. Just look at my signature. The world is crying out. Ok, vote or not vote Bush. But There is only one ruler of this world. It is the Lord and Savior. He died that we may live. Even though he does not like the immoratity of gays but he loves them. They can't get into heaven unless they repent. Same as any other person. I can not judge. But this world won't get any better. It will get worse no matter who is in office.
When the world becomes straight when Jesus comes back and sets it straight. Read all of Revelations. Just don't read oh what you want to read. Look at it hard. That's all for now.

Emm Your Sig hardly offers a solution to the World or what the World Needs...All it offers is what Christians wish people to see. In reality you can't force Religion onto someone (it has been done) and it doesn't work. Therefore it's not a Solution

For your information I was not trying to force anything. And there is a God for I know he lives within me. You can not tell me there is no God.
You people can not read at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was simply stating facts. I was not forcing.

I also have to agree with Sean here. I myself am a Christian and believe in this, but it's not a means of solving the wrolds problems, or at least in the views of many people.

people say that oh no it's not going to fix things cause its about religion,
cause they have not fully accepted Jesus into their hearts and believe. So they are in sin and blind. Hate me for this get mad.
I am stating facts. God's word is no lie. He is coming back one day. I don't know when but when he does, be assure those of you who think i am wrong will see the truth. We can debate this til the end of the world.
Noone will not win but Jesus.!!!!!!!

I'm not saying that you're forcing your faith upon people, but it's just that this is a multi-faith board and so after you've stated your "position" then you shouldn't start saying that other people are "wrong" or disagree with them unless you're saying something different to what you said in the first place. Percsonally I agree, but some people will get annoyed if you keep repeating you're view.

Actually, that is incorrect. It says the "love" of money is the root of all evil.

Kmma is VERY passionate about his religin. He is NOT forcing his beliefs on others--we all make our own choices--and he is stating the truth, although you may or may not believe that. MANY of your arguements are COMPLETELY ridiculous and demeaning to Christians, but that's just my belief.
Here's a more definite religious belief:
Jesus will return one day, to judge the living and the dead, and no one can decide what Jesus should do. However, all people should be able to make their OWN judgements and speak their mind, even though Jesus has the last say.
In the name of the Father,
and the Sun,
and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Ok folks, calm down! No one is saying that anybody else is forcing their religion or views on someone else! It's just that she's made her point and it would be spamming to keep repeating it. I personally agree with Kmma's beliefs, but that doesn't mean it's right to just keep posting it up, unless you say something different. Now let's get onto the debate please.
