Its not garaks fault the cardassians sided with the dominion, garak obviously seen the gul dukat is an idiot and wisely ignored getting involved with there war, the crew on DS9 has gotten along with garak with time and even had garak assist with infiltrating cardassia prime to help free his people from dominion rule he obviously cares for his people, so in all garak is decent guy and knows what he is doing to my opinion.

(P.S. -Gul Dukat and his counsel was assisted by the federation after a klingon invasion of cardassia so gul dukat had a choice even under the best conditions to side with the alpha quadrant, but what did he do?Side with the dominion what a freak, no wonder it was hard for garak to keep from killing gul dukat during the klingon attack on the station when they were forced to fight side by side.

Yeah I have to agree with Klingon on that one. Garrak was a good guy. He didn't side with the his own race.
He chose the right side.

Garek is cool!! and just like others have said, its his half-truths and innuendos that make him such a good character and that fact that not much is really known about his past! Long life Garek!

Garak is the man and personally, he was one of the reasons I watched DS9. I also liked Odo too, so when they had Garak torturing Odo, I was merrily glued to the set.

first of all, there is nothing wrong with sewing, and it definently doesnt mean that a man is gay. second of all Garak is awesome, i can't explain it he just comes off as a likable person
