PostTue Mar 30, 2004 4:38 pm    That wacky Bush guy!

President Bush has frozen funding for student aid. And now he's hitting
young people up for a massive loan. His new budget will increase the
national debt by a half-trillion dollars this year alone. Of course, young
people are the ones who will have to pay down Bush's debt through higher
taxes and cuts to vital services.

Students, send this message to Bush: LOAN DENIED!

A new site we've helped launch provides a funny and productive way to say
no to the Bush loan. Click the link below to reject Bush's credit -- and
when you do, MoveOn Voter Fund will earn one dollar in matching funds.

http://www.clickbackamerica.org/petition1.php?id=17

President Bush has asked all Americans to go into further debt, not for
priorities such as education but for tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans
and our war with Iraq. Bush, in his most recent budget, has asked all of us
for a 4,500 dollar loan against our future earnings. This is in addition to
the 13,000 dollars each of us already owes for the national debt, now
totaling more than seven trillion dollars.

The campaign to reject George Bush’s credit is part of a new effort the
MoveOn.org Voter Fund is co-sponsoring called the "College Click Drive,"
together with a group called Click Back America. Click Back America is a
great way for college students to get active. And for every student that
takes action, the MoveOn Voter Fund gets a one dollar contribution for our
efforts to expose Bush Administration policies. We’ll be tracking how
students around the country do, and the school with the most matching
contributions will win a big prize.

To participate visit:
http://www.clickbackamerica.org/petition1.php?id=17

Thanks,

Wes Boyd
MoveOn.org Voter Fund

MoveOn.org is the FARTHEST LEFT OUTLET IN THE WORLD!
I am a student, and I won't get into my age, but I won't be going to college for a while, and yet I am NOT worried about the spending.
Check: President Bush DID spend too much money.
Check: President Bush's budget will cut the deficit in 1/2 in the next 5 years
Check: MoveOn.org is a horrible special interest organization backed by billionaire George Soros
Check: To help MoveOn.org is to push America down
Check: Do a little research

The Bottom Line: DO NOT SUPPORT MOVEON.ORG! TO DO SO IS WRONG! TRUST ME!

No, it's not just my opinion! Much of it is fact!
MoveOn.org is finding many ways to undermine society and give special interest money to Democrats. I will find some info for you...

No, because your reasons for "smiling" I can tell are in the fact that you dislike my opinion, so you "smile..." Hey, I know that Liberals always do it...
It's not that I disagree with your opinions, it's just the conclusion that I've drawn from the Liberals.

One thing about MoveOn.org:
They make and/or support HORRIFYING films about Bush, such as the "Lord of the Right Wing" in which they take the Lord of the Rings, make Bush get the ring that brings him to the white house, make him seem like gollum, and act like he is a horrific evil menace...That's a small snippit of MoveOn.org actions!

Here's something else, another film produced by the "great MoveOn.org" that I found out about during SuperBowl season 2004 and just remembered when doing a search.

Quote:
[The debate is centered on] MoveOn.org's contest to pick an anti-Bush ad to run on television during the week of the President's State of the Union address. Two of the more than 1500 ads submitted to the contest that ran on the site featured explicit comparisons between Bush and Adolf Hitler (the scripts of both can be read on the Republican National Committee website).

After the ads were denounced by RNC chairman Ed Gillespie, MoveOn took them down and expressed its regret that they made it through the screening process. MoveOn was right to apologize for showing the ads on its site. Moreover, its claim that the RNC and Gillespie "have falsely accused MoveOn.org of sponsoring ads on its website which compare President Bush to Adolf Hitler" is unpersuasive. From his first mention of the ads on Fox News Sunday, which came a day before MoveOn's response, Gillespie has accurately pointed out that the Nazi comparison ads were available on the MoveOn site and that the group had stated in the contest rules that it would not carry ads that were "inappropriate for television." Clearly, the group did not create or explicitly endorse the ads, but MoveOn is responsible for letting them through the screening process, mistake or not.

from: http://www.spinsanity.org/columns/20040113.html

I agree with that, and this was worse than the "Lord of the Right Wing."

I'll put the script in my next post...

Move On Video

MoveOn.org Should Apologize for Ads Comparing Bush to Hitler Second Ad Posted on MoveOn.org Web site Also Compares Bush to Hitler

Washington, DC-Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie today made the following statement regarding a second ad posted on the MoveOn.org Web site comparing President Bush to Adolf Hitler and calls from Jewish leaders for MoveOn.org to apologize for posting the ads. Scripts from both ads are included below.

"Yesterday, MoveOn.org said an ad comparing President Bush to Adolf Hitler that it had posted on its Web site as one the group would consider selecting for $7 million worth of paid airtime was only one of hundreds submitted and that MoveOn.org tried to screen out ads in such poor taste.

It now turns out that the ad was one of two submissions comparing President Bush to Hitler that the organization posted, further reflecting the group's view that this despicable tactic complied with its guidelines that submissions be: really creative ads that will engage and enlighten viewers and help them understand the truth about George Bush. There are some legal limits on what you can do (see below), and we're not going to post anything that would be inappropriate for television, but other than that what you put in your ads is up to you (live action, animation, personal rant, whatever!)(Source: http://www.bushin30seconds.org/rules.html)

Such ads are anything but appropriate for television, and MoveOn.org should apologize for posting the ads, as the Simon Wiesenthal Center today asked them to. Further, every Democrat seeking his or her party's nomination and who stands to benefit politically from MoveOn.org's efforts to defeat President Bush in November though millions of dollars in advertising should support the Simon Wiesenthal Center's request, and urge MoveOn.org to apologize for posting these ads on their Web site and deeming them appropriate for television."

It did appologize, but it shouldn't have even considered it...

And Harry, that may be true, but it is still consistent with the Liberal reterict...

I saw one of the, "anti-bush," ads during the super-bowel. I can't remember which station it was on... obviously not a main stream one... it was actualy a very good comercial. (It wasn't the Hitler one... no one deserves to be compared to that monster!)

Well, Saddam Hussein could be, so could Stalin, ect...
See how Liberal it is, MoveOn.org, that is?
And I saw it too...Was it the one about the debt, with the kids doing all sorts of work?
And another note, taxing people is NOT THE RIGHT WAY to dispose of a deficit...There are other ways...

True...

Yes, that's the one.

And another note, taxing people is NOT THE RIGHT WAY to dispose of a deficit...There are other ways...
Also true.

Actually, I consider myself independant. Repuplicans and Democrats get to obsessive.

Anyway, I think I like you, (Rep_Man), so much b/c you are very passionate about your beliefs. I like people with passion.

Even though they have a radical agenda and do ads like those said?
I just don't get it...
And are you a Liberal, or are you Independent?

Independant refers to Democrat/Republican more than Liberal/Conservative. At least in my opinion it does.

Yes, I like in your face ads.

I thought you said that NO ONE should be compared to Hitler?
Now I'm fine with the one that shows kids doing work, but beyond that is where I draw the line!

Hmm, well thats ok, but maybe it would be important for you to check a right wing site, or do alot more research than besides just looking at this site. I am conservative.....and yes, I like conservative books...however, I also like putting them up against liberal veiws, this is how I have become a right wing guy, but have a few(keyword) liberal veiws and do not always agree with conservative policy. Also, if a group compares the President of our country, no matter who it might be to Hitler, they do not deserve to live in this country. I HATE these extremist articles, conservative and liberal ones, they disgust me, because, first, they find all the facts they can, oonly to support their veiws, then twist them to make them even better, and most of the time, they show utterly now respect to the other group.

Anyhow....Im tired of typin in here...check back later

I am inclined to agree with most of that. Both people on the left and the right spin things to their viewpoints. It is mostly the Liberals that do that and have extremest websites, but I cannot deny that there are Conservative sites and extremests that are radical as such, and I draw the line there on the right-wing side.
And yes, I agree with your comment about Hitler, too, Janeway...

Just to be fair, and from what I have seen, there are also a few to many extremist Republican sites that scare me just as much as the liberal ones.

But the Liberals are the ones that hate the President so much.
