OMG! That is so...........idk. I have always been very proud of President Bush and liked him alot, but now I do not know what to say! That is amazing. Gosh am I proud that Bush is our President, and that we have such a great army.

Yeah I know. Some will disagree but I know I have to stand my ground and defend my president's honor. If anyone don't believe this is true then look up Chaplain James Henderson. Or Sergant Major Jack Tilley.

I wanted to cry when Charlie handed me that Flyer. I said I am going to post this on here and on the friendsof4him board. Of course I know I will get bashed for it but that's the decision I made to defend for what is right in my heart. I got bashed from my own best friend. In email now. She said Bush is the Anti-Christ. I chose not to reply to her right now. Cause I want to respond in a nice mature way without hurting her feelings.

Ok I post this on my favorite Christian group webiste and this woman tried to prove me wrong saying it was not true when it was. So I just proved her wrong with some little info. But I was not mean though. I acted like a good girl

I wouldn't say Christ-like or anything, but nontheless, it is honourable. Most people here know of my dislike for Mr. Bush, but this is one example every leader should follow.

I think it's a great example that people should follow. Some people will say it;s a publicity stunt before the election, but it takes a caring person and someone who can think fast to do something like that. Most people would do something stupid that would embarise the soldier but well done Bush!

Some people will think its only a publicity but people who has morals and know the truth don't see that. They see a man who loves the Lord and honestly showing love. No matter who bashes or hates Bush I will defend his honor oh I am not saying you bashing my President don't get me wrong. Cause my husband is a christian soldier and he supports Bush too.
And that before the election was going to take place this time less than a year ago when the Iraqi war was over when Walter Reed Medical was getting the wounded soldiers in from the war. It was not about politics.

There was loads of people in protests against the war today. Two protesters got arrested for going on Big Ben. That must have been interesting! People here are a lot more anti-war than America.

Sometimes war is needed though. Look what Saddam did to his own people. He tortured and killed. He put guns in the hands of kids to fight in the war. If we did not step in like we did, it will be more horrible. And to protect America as well but some people do not see that. In some cases war might not be needed. But you got to admit Bush did something his dad failed to do was to capture that evil man Saddam. Now they got to get Bin Ladden. I hope they do. For the people that was killed in the towers. For American people.

Wow. Just, wow........ That is a perfect example of what a president should do when he comes across a soldier would like that. I bet that soldier feels much better, knowing that someone appreciates what he did for the country.

I would agree that those actions were indeed honourable. However, they are potentially dangerous as well. That soldier may not be Christian and as such would have found it insulting to have another's religious preferences pressed on him like that. Just a thought.

Not really. I know of non christians and they are not mean as some non christians. We don't what that soldier said and done when Bush did that. I asked info on the military board and they said the soldier appreciated it. So I only imagine that he appreciated it. But I don't know how others would react.

Regardless of what religion. But, nontheless, as I said, it was honourable, but the religious thing just seems...wrong...In my opinion.

Thank you Captain Dappet. It was not my intent to belittle what I believe was a good - intentioned deed. It just struck me that with the diversity of religions and personal faiths present in this world that we must all be relatively vigilant that we do not unconscionably tread on someone else's belief system. While I personally would not appreciate the religious significance of such an action, I would disregard that and just be proud to have the President of the U.S. (and not necessarily George Bush) to have singled me out).
