|
I am wondering what do all of you do on the weekends? When I was not a christian , I went out and got drunk with my friend Barb. Only thing I would drink was sex on the beach. I drunk two pitchers one night and got so drunk, I almost did not get over the hanf over the next day.
Now I don't drink. I found myself getting addicted. SO I found myself and got back saved. I was upset, my husband was in Iraq in the war. I had not heard from him so I got upset. I got drunk like a fool every weekend.
I found myself getting addicted so much, I had to get help.
Now I go off and do fun stuff with my church and family. I love going bowling on the weekends now on base. My husband been back since July 16 2003. I did admit to him I got drunk. He laughed and said God would forgive me. He is such a sweetheart that he did not get mad. I thought he would. That man has a heart of gold.
So I have been sober for nine months now. I don't know why I brought it up lol. But just wondering what ya'll do for fun. Be interesting to hear what you do.

I go to the ocean and spend my day laying out in the caribbean sun, water-ski or just para-sail with friends.

I generally have schoolwork to do on my weekends, so there's not time for much else...however, when I do have the time, I usually write or play around on the computer... *shrugs*

I work on Saturday, and Sunday, if I feel like it, I go to church. We usually go out to dinner Sunday nights.

I work on the weekends. If we have kids shows going on, I work pretty much all day Saturday. We almost always have adult shows Fri and Sat. night, and Sun afternoon. Many Fridays I go to a club called, Numbers here in Houston. They play a lot of 80's type music on Fridays... Not bubble-gum 80's... harder rock. (Well not that rock was very hard then, but you get the idea.) Game night at a friends is also popular. Or just catching up on sleep!

When it gets warmer, I want to go back to Tybee Island and hope not to get a ticket if I park way over the time limit.

When I don't have lessons or school - which is practically never - I go to the library or work on whatever extracurricular activity I'm involved in at that time.

Well, my weekends are quite sober. Mainly I do some relaxing. Maybe go see a movie, watch tv, do some reading, go out to town with my girlfriend, ... things like that.

I don't drink no more. Thank Goodness. I don't want to say God it might offend some people. I am going to the bowling alley with church group that helped me sober up a nine months ago. Then we are going to see the Passion of the Christ hopefully. I am wanting to go see that movie.
Yeah I started going places other than Wal-Mart as we in the south calls it WallyWorld. Charlie started taking me to the mall and other places now that he has time.

Other people play CS, but not I. I play Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield 1942, etc. No CS.

Good. CS sucks really bad. I don't do LAN Parties, though. I've done it about 2 times, but I didn't find it all that great.

What with having moved house and all, I find myself alone. Awwww. So on weekends I sit at my computer and use the anonymous advantages of the internet to make fun of people, when really, I'm making fun of my own inability to open my eyes and see the real picture.
So, I pretty much do nothing. Yeah.

Awwww, how sad.
Tomorrow I'm going to the mall, again! Going to see "Secret Window" with Jhonny Depp (that sounds like a really stupid name [the secret window part :p ]). Starbucks is definitely on the roster, too.

i was thinking of watching that movie but he made a other movie befor and it sucked something about hell or somethin like that. And this new one has the feeling of a cheap thriller but let us know if it's any good...oh it's weird liek he acts girly in his movies sometimes
