when i got on the front page i was into nothing but post count. After running my forum for a few weeks i have changed my entire look. It is after all just a number.
My new goal is the very same as Theresa's.

That is true, and good and all. But, a counterpoint:
Post count is a nice little feature to see who is active, and whos been around longer. New users (and old ones too) can see who has been posting and whatnot, and can give the proper respect to the users that are up there higher. That is why post count is good.

How true is that. I admit, I like my post count and the fact that it's higher than some. I don't ridicule people with a lower postcount than I have though. A postcount should show how active we are at posting; people shouldn't care as much as they do about thier postcounts, as some do.
