Does anyone here play any musical instruments? I play the piano, violin and recorder.

By the way, I have a concert coming up. I just hope I don't mess up.

I play the French Horn and sing (according to some people the second is debatable ). I've been playing the horn for about 6 years now and am in a number of orchestra's. I sing in 2 choirs at the moment and also in the school show when it is on. If needs be then I can also play the triangle.

I play the violin, recorder, tin whistle and some piano. I also sing. When I was still at school I was in the school choir, orchestra and string group. I also took part in the Battle of the Bands, singing Faith of the Heart

I can play the piano a bit. My father can play the trumpet, and Jaime, (Natira), that girl can sing.

I get around with instruments. My first instrument was the cello, which I played for about 2 years. Then I switched to the oboe, which I still play but am currently on hiatus. I tried to play the trumpet, but that didn't last for very long. when high school started, I got into percussion, now I'm section leader... I specialize in vibraphone and djembe. I play a little piano every now and then and also I sing.

I've played the Trumpet for five years now. Right on, Trumpeters rock most of the time, unless they stink. I play for my school and I recently went from third to fifth chair. Also this Sunday I will be playing at my church.

I play:

Piano (since Kindergarten: I am now in 11th grade)
Flute (since 6th grade)
Trombone (since 9th grade)
Bass Guitar (since about a year ago)
Acoustic/Classical Guitar (since about a year ago)
Electric Guitar (since about a year ago)
Percussion for band (since 9th grade)

I also sing but that's not really an instrument

Ugh, I can't even hold the acousitc guitar. It's a bit too bulky... I think I'll go buy a strap. Does anyone have a tip for a beginner?

Jeez, Ziona's a bit gifted lol. And Tech, the only advice I have for you is don't beat yourself up. It takes a lot of the dreaded P word to get really good at the guitar, and getting mad at yourself never helps, I would know.

I've played violin since first grade, and I played bassoon for a year in sixth grade. I'm thinking about learning a little guitar and/or piano from my aunt, if I have enough time. I fooled around with the recorder in fifth grade, but I didn't really like it, as it was easy and had a very limited range.

^ Marimba... w00t to that we just got a new xylo-marimba. man, those things are so nice of course, we've been playing a 18 year old marimba for as long as I've been in HS, so about anything would sound good...
