MacGyver was a great show. They still show Reruns of it on TV, but I forgot what channel.

It's on Spike TV at 11am and 12pm.

Every day from the look of it.

If I was trapped on a desert island and could only have 1 other person with me - it'd have to be McGuyver

He doesn't act as well on SG 1 compared to MacGyver. It's like he is more laid back and doesn't care when he acts now. When he was on MacGyver, he actually got in to the part and that's what makes it a good show.

I love his MacGyverisms... and his Swiss Army Knife! Does anyone have any idea what model his Swiss Army Knife is? Mine is Champ. You wouldn't know what I am talking about if you don't know anything about SAKs.

MacGyver?? No.

Quote:
MacGyver is a different kind of hero - he doesnt use weapons, hes afraid of heights, and hes an expert at making complicated machines out of ordinary things. A fan, a dough-scraper and some duct tape forms an excellent helicopter attack. A cut credit card can help cause a traffic jam. A light bulb makes an outstanding set of lock picks...

Pete Thornton is Macs best friend, an ex-agent from the DXS whos now the director of field operations at a think tank called the Phoenix Foundation for Research.

If Macs not careful, he might bump into Murdoc (Michael Des Barres), a masquerading hitman who seems to have nine lives and a grudge against MacGyver...

Or worse, Penny Parker (Teri Hatcher) - the struggling artist who cannot stop talking...

Or even worse, Jack Dalton (Bruce McGill) - Macs pilot friend who has a natural talent for getting himself and others into trouble... On Macs side was his grandfather Harry (John Anderson), and Phoenix operative Nikki Carpenter (Elyssa Davalos).

The series ran for 7 seasons. It has since become a practical reference guide for DIY-work.

Hmmm...Herbie is a talking car. A Volkswagen. Or you could be talking about Knight Rider.

But I've never seen MacGyver. I will sometime, though. Sounds fun.

Yeaaaah, that must be it, it comes on before SG-1 (knight Rider), I usually end up catching the last 30 seconds of it.
I think MacGyver comes on TV Land here. I'll check it out
