Yes... the Xindi hate the Humans because they believe the Human will destroy them sometime in the future so the Xindi have set out to destroy the humans before the humans destroy them. The humans learned of the Xindi plot to destroy the human race from the Suliban informant from the future.

this wil probably be one of those A leads to B leads to C leads back to A time paradoxes, in the end the humans will probably destroy those spheres thus destroying the expanse thus destroying the xindi in the proces

I believe he means how will the humans supposedly destroy the Xindi in 400 years. So far, nothing's been proven. For all we know it could be a trick to get the Xindi and humans fighting each other.

They were told that their race would be wiped out by the humans in the future. I think that would be initiative enough to try to wipe them out. Wouldn't you try to stop something like that from happening by any means?

But why take the chance?
BTW, I've just recently started watching ENT, they show it on late night tv now. It's better than the first few eps I saw. I am getting rather tired of "The Weapon", though. Wish they'd give it a name. Coming in in the middle of all of this, I didn't know what was going on.

right, but would you just go right up to the guy and kill him or would you at least try to find out if the guy has any reason or motive to do any harm to you. it seems to me that the Xindi did not try to find anything out about the humains before they sent that test probe or what ever it was.
BTW, the show has been geting better throughout the seasons, but some of the more reason shows are beginning to get a little desprite, and the writers of the show should go into more details about the story lines

You're judging the Xindi by human standards. Who is to say that the species that intend to destroy Earth have any morals?

They were told that humans would destroy them in some 400 years. That's much too long from then to try to find out their motives. They had the information then. They didn't care if it was true of false, the fate of their entire species could be decided. Wiping out your reaper before it can take you and sorting the moral issues out afterward would be many people's feelings. If we had a visitor from the future that told us that in 50 years Syria was going to wipe out the entire US and its colonies, don't you think we would want to prevent that by any means? Moral issues tend to be swept to the side when survival is at stake.

I have a feeling this storyline is going to tie in with the time-traveling Soluiban story explored in season 1.

if the Xindi were that paranoid and well... stupid then i guess they got what they deserved from the humains, which is like another 400 years away, seems like a long time to me

400 years isn't all that long in the grand scheme of things. Plus if they just sat around and did nothing, as you seem to be implying, they'd just be destroyed anywho.
