Here's how to figure out Stardates...I got it off some site.
For Example: "Captain's Log Stardate 45076.3"
The "4" represents that the series takes place in the 24th century, according to an original writer's guide, although Deep Space Nine may change that. It also has been noted that 1000 stardates pass with every year. The "5" represents the season number of TNG without exception. The "076" represents the portion of a season that advances during TNG. The ".3" represents a portion of a day thereof.

It is a little confuing, but after you read it like 3 time you will get it.

DS9 and Voyager got into the 53xxx.x range, so they obviously changed it.
Someone posted a link to a stardate calculator a while back. Does anyone know where that is?

I came up with a stardate calculator based on TNG, DS9 and VGR stardates. It works by using the first two digits to work out the year, and the last three represent 1/1000 of a year.
So, All Good Things, the TNG finale, with a stardate of 47988 was started early afternoon on December 27, 2370. Why Picard was in his bathrobe, I have no idea. (Shakes head and walks away.)

I don't think the one that you have on your computer was made by me. I only made it as an Excel spread sheet, and I haven't sent it to anyone. Besides, I've still got a few tiny bugs to work out in mine, but for the most part it's accurate.
Can anyone tell me if there's any way I can put the spread sheet up on this site? I'm pretty sure there is, but I'm not sure. BTW, I can only use a public computer at my local library, I don't know if that makes a difference.
