PostThu Jan 29, 2004 11:07 pm    2004 US PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

I'll add a poll if someone gets me all of the names of the Dems in the caucus.

Remember, open debate, slight flaming, etc... will be allowed, but only to an extent. I encourage free exchange of ideas, but nothing rude or mean.

Al Sharpton? Figured he'd be long gone by now.

He'll stay as long as he can. He wasn't really serious about running anyway.

At one point I would have said Dean would win, But now he just contradicts himself on a Daily Basis.

Now, I've been following Kerry's campaign and it sounds good so far.

I'm not real certain...Kerry is, of course, doing better. (A lot better than I expected) But I really think Edwards and, sadly enough, Dean might have a chance.

When i first started watching the debates on CSPAN i firsted started to pick Howard Dean, but as time went on the more promising better Democrat to run in my view is John Kerry. He does have what it takes to re take the goverment from George W. Bush, and my sister is now in voting age. I will be in the next Election in 2008.

Howard Dean should be John Kerry's VP

Not American, but I think what Bush has been doing over the past year entitles me to an opinion. I hope Bush is elected again in 2004, only so that he can finish what he's started. Infact it'd be unfair for someone else to come pick up the pieces.

Ok well since this is a debate, what do you think of the war on terrorism? (Iraq, Afghanistan, anything else)
I support all of it personally.

I agree, 100% sure Kerry wouldn't be stupid enough to pick Dean.

What's John Kerry's campaign?

I haven't been following it very well, though I know I should. This is the first year I'm able to vote !

^ I dont know.

However, if there is one person, which it doesn't look like he will be around any longer, but if there is one person who should NOT be President, it is Howard Dean. First of all, he was govenor of Vermont, that right there says alot about his experience. (No offense to those who live in Vermont) Secondly, he has an temper problem, and I personally think he is just a tad looney.

Oh man....I was thinking he might actually be a benefit to national security. He would bore the terrorists to death with every speech he gave.
