Yoyoyo, chill out. I watched that too and from what I saw there was no nudity, and even if there was im sure it was accidental. Also, because he cut up a flag so he could wear it as a symbol of his love of his country doesnt mean that Kid Rock has no morales.

How is it illegal to wear a flag; it's just a form of expression. And obviously it's not illegal since he did it on national television.

No, it's actually not. (Not my opinion, just stating the facts, please don't get mad at me...) Most states have laws, which have all been deemed unconstitutional by the supreme court case of Texas v. Johnson(http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=491&invol=397), where the ruling was "We do not consecrate the flag by punishing its desecration, for in doing so we dilute the freedom that this cherished emblem represents."
It was defended again in the case of US v. Eichman(http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?navby=search&court=US&case=/us/496/310.html) where the ruling was "Punishing desecration of the flag dilutes the very freedom that makes this emblem so revered, and worth revering.".
In terms of the law, you can do whatever you want to your flag. (although I do honestly think that should be changed...)
Kid Rock, though, is a good man. Beleive it or not, he is a very patriotic American, and probably meant more to bring attention to the flag, than to desicrate it.

Yeah, I forgot about all that burning *beep*.
Needless to say he offended alot. My aunt was career Navy, and used to be a Kid Rock fan. (And no, she's not the only one pissed, I was in six different chats last night, and that, and JJ's nipple, were the main topics, not even the game itself, which was fantastic).

The game was awesome!! I don't even LIKE football and I had a great time. But the scene at halftime was just ridiculous: they said it was a "wardrobe malfunction" but I don't buy it. It was just gross: how degraded women are!! Anyway....I wasn't impressed with the ads this time either lol. They just weren't that great.

dude stop spazing its just a flag you act like its the Holy Grail. If it was against the law to wear a flag Im pretty sure that all the magazines that takes pictures of people wearing the flag would get in trouble.

i think that that was suppose to happen because even at the end of the song the lyrics are "I'm gonna have you naked by the end of this song." It kind of fits so i think so.

OK, about the whole Timberlake / Jackson thing. Totally planned. Justin Timberlake wouldnt have the balls to do that on stage, besides that she had a star on. Think about it.
Second, Kid Rock is a celebrity. Even if it was against the law, he would be able to get away with it, because he is a celebrity. Besides, he would probably have some weird way to justify it, like 'it was a cape with the flag on it' or something like that.

A lot of things happen on national television that aren't sanctioned by authority. Just because it's on national television doesn't mean it necessarily legal.

I understand it. I would get furious if someone did that to my country's flag. I wouldnt mind people wearing it, thats okay, but cutting it open is just...wrong, somehow.

I think the concept of the flag was extremely distorted with 9/11. Every jackass in the US put a flag on their car, and thought they were the biggest patriot in the world, and it meant absolutely nothing. Stores sold flags by the case load to these people, and that meant nothing. The true meaning of the flag stands for honor, valor, and a strong civilization of people dedicated to whats good and true, and so many people distort that or ruin that, its not even funny.
