I believe they are worth it to buy. Also this topic should have been posted in the Book Discussion Board

The books are great... they nearly always reference to past episodes/incidents. Don't know who these reviewers are, maybe they expected a different outcome on Voyagers' Homecoming. Go buy them - it'll be worth the money spent (plus you'll look very intellectual sat there with a book).

i thought the two books were great however, there were still a lot of questions after i finished the bookz, such as what happened to everyone i mean really homecoming promoted them but the never really got assighned to new jobs and what happened to seven of nine and ichy and what did chackotay do when he became captain of voyager!!!??? and most of all I want to learn more about what happened to my Janeway she was in nemisis but not long enough to learn anything new!!! that made me so very unhappy

Bah, they were badly written. However, I'd still suggest that if you're a fan, that you read them.

I think they really were good but they posed more questions than they answered, leaving room for more installments, or dare i say it - a movie?

I want to find out more about Chakotay as Captain of Voyager, and what happens to Janeway's and Chakotays relationship? I mean who could forget that scene in the 'Alpha Flyer'

"Kathryn - I'm not you're Captain anymore."
"Ah," he joked "but you'll always be captain to me."
Suddenly serious she looked into his dark eyes "I hope not." she said

That J/C relationship was silly as well. They just dropped it in the middle of the series, and then have if resurface all of a sudden in the book? They should have built up to it, instead of having it happen in a silly rush

They're still "building it up" in the books as nothing major has happened between them yet.
Also the reason they dropped it in the series was because Janeway always wanted to hold fast to Starfleet regulations, but now they are home they're free to explore options that they couldn't on Voyager.

I'm just glad Seven is out of the J/C picture

I thought C/7 was better than J/C. C/7 had something going on in the end of the series, so there was reason to continue it in the books. However, J/C was dropped a while ago, and now just to bring it up all of sudden. That was just a stupid move. I could understand if we saw them go to dinner a few times, spend more time together, and then have Janeway say something like that thing in the Alpha Flyer.
