Sorry, so sorry for delaying the story, just been so busy. Anyways....

Time Left: 20 Hours, 40 minutes, 12 seconds till planet goes back to subspace.

In the Captain's room, after a hearty meal cooked up by James, the new ship cook, G'nar continued with his story.

"Before the subspace weapon took effect, the Kar'ak troops cane and took everything. Our ships, our food, even our children were taken, doomed to slavery." G'nar recounted. "The last of us fought the Kar'ak, but we were fighting a losing battle. There wasn't a thing we could do. Slowly, we watched as our star disappeared beyond the horizon, leaving us a frozen world. The only warmth was the fires that still raged on. However, we always turned up at the same place when this planet came up. For the last year at least."

"No wonder you haven't been able to escape this planet...no ships..." said Janeway. Voyager shook. "Whats going on, Commander?"

"Someone just opened fire at us, Captain." replied Chakotay, over the sounds of the bridge crew.

"On my way to the bridge, Janeway out." said Janeway, walking towards the door. "G'nar, come to the bridge with me. You might be of assistance." added Janeway.

The viewscreen was of an alien, resembeling overgrown slugs. "THE KAR'AK!" cried G'nar. "KILL THOSE IDIOTS!"

The alien said, "THIS IS CAPTAIN NER'AR OF THE KAR'AK HOMEWORLD. RELEASE ALL THE NOERARKS AT ONCE, AND WE WILL CEASEFIRE."

"Sorry, but I can't do that. I won't let you do what you did to them long ago." replied Janeway in her most determined voice. The alien ended transmission, and Voyager recoiled as the Kar'ak hit her with a wide range of weapons.

"Fire phasers at their weapons port, and fire 2 Quantam torpedoes at their engines."
