I think they don't put em in, coz it would be hard to put in a up-to-date lavatory whilst keeping the tarnished star trek image alive...
It would put people right off the subject

Haha. That's probably how it works. They push a button in their sonic shower room and out pops a toilet seat. I bet it would have a little viewscreen and evreything.

I think they show a little bit of a toilet in star trek First Contact,
but i am not sure!

Its when picard is in his bathroom and gets some borg stuff right out of
his cheek.
