Question:
Was the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701 deployed with shuttlecraft?

Just wondering, it would clear up some continuity errors.

Another good thing about TOS is that it clearly reflected what was going on in society at the time. Like the Hippie movement, bi-racial relationships, racism, etc....
I know the others do this now, but remember, this was the FIRST. Took alot of guts to make society face it's fallicies.

yah it did but now we have all that stuff sorted out what they didn't think is that in the future they could of eliminated all the stuff which we did so the TNG DS9 and Voyager scripts are a bit more realistic in our time line

Must be nice for you to have that all sorted out, but alot of that crap still goes on here. In the news every day.

yah you ever heard of the gay pribe parade and well here in Toronto we have the second biggest one in the world second only to San Diego no offence to anyone that lives there but well it is the truth but your goverment doesn't support other cultures inside of USA that is one of your big problems. your policy is if you come here you gotta be like us that is one of the reasons why you got alot of problems there

Yeah, TOS is on all of the time here, also. The only series I haven't been able to see is Voyager.

It was on up here until about season 5, then they took it off. It came back on just in time to see the series finale, and now they are replaying season 7, which is great. I have also been buying them on video, but they are only out up to Basics pt. 1, so I have to wait awhile to see season 6.

What do you think of the way that they killed off Captain Kirk? Personally I thought that it sucked. And then to be left on some planet in the middle of nowhere? After all he has done for the Federation, like saving Earth at least twice.

I dont think Picard ever said anything to anybody on that note. He wanted everyone to remember Kirk dieing, saving the Enterprise. If he got Kirk out, he would be rewriting history and stuff. Plus Kirk once said that he would die alone. And he was buried alone and not on Earth with everyone else.

The beauty of TOS is that it was ahead of it's time and the problems they faced were realistic back then. People in the sixties and seventies would not have much apreciated Voyager or DS9 and would have thought they werent realistic.

I think that you are comparing apples and oranges. It would be like saying, of our history I like the 80'and the 90's, but I didnt like the 70's. You can only judge what existed.
