Fri Dec 19, 2003 6:38 pm Scariest episode? |
|
Which would you consider the scariest episodes of TOS?
For me, there would be two...
Where No Man Has Gone Before
Seeing Gary Mitchell become less and less human and more and more of a god-like being was scary to me. And when Kirk had to kill him-let's just say it was depressing.
By Any Other Name
This would be my scariest episode ever. The way those aliens mercilessly turned crew members into small white cubes was horrible. And the way they crushed one of them too-it was cold, it was nasty, it was inhuman but it was most of all-SCARY!
What are your picks?

I don't know if you've seen them all Miss7 but believe me, there are some TOS series that will give you nightmares. Space is a scary place remember...

The only episodes of ANY trek I've seen that comes close to being scary was in TNG when those alien beings attatched themselves to the back of people's necks and controlled them and they had to kill one and u could see the being inside his gorey body *icky face* and that one where they can't sleep in the REM sleep cycle and start hilucinating and dr. crusher saw the dead bodies sitting up. Oh, and when the crew de-evolved and worf turned into a big scary creature and chased picard.
But none of them were really scary at all. I haven't had a nightmare from a "scary" movie or tv show since I watched scooby doo too much when I was 3. And I've atched some pretty dang scary, gorey stuff *bleh face*

Dude that abduction episode RAWKED! CLASSIC sci-fi! You CANNOT have a sci-fi show without someone getting abducted and having experiments performed on them!!
I have never been scared by watching anything... well, other than when I was little. I correct myself, I haven't been scared by watching a tv show or movie since I was 6 grossed out/excited/nervous, sure, but not SCARED

Scariest TOS episode is the episode when Kirk had his shirt off, hands down. Oh wait the episodes.
