Here's another little Fan Fic for you all.

Japheth ran to his brother. "The council is assembling!" exclaimed Japheth. "Very well." replied Jahl. "Are you not going to go? The fate of the planet called earth is to be decided." said Japheth. "Yes, I shall go in a minute." said Jahl. Later on. "Ah, Jahl, Japheth, good to see that you've joined us." said a council member. "We are honored to be here, sir." said Jahl. "The fate of earth has been decided." said the council member. "What is the decision?" asked Jahl. "It is to be... destroyed." said the council member.

"Captain, receiving a message from Starfleet Command." said Data. "Put it on screen." said Picard. "Captain Picard. It's good to see you." said Admiral Nechayev. "And you also, Admiral." said Picard. "You're probably wondering why I am talking to you. There is a matter of extreme importance." said Nechayev. "Yes..." said Picard. "We have learned from reliable sources that an advanced civilation called the Shoran are going to destroy earth." said Nechayev. "What can we do?" asked Picard. "They are sending a large, powerful ship. Go to Starbase 10, restock and intercept this ship. You will be accompanied by the Odysey, the Galaxy, the two Galaxy class ships. If you are not able to destroy it, warp back to earth at maximum warp, and we will have a fleet organized. Nechayev, out." said Nechayev. "Mr. Hawk, set a course for Starbase 10. Maximum warp." said Picard. "Course set." said Hawk. "Engage. Number 1, I will be in my ready room. Tell me when we reach Starbase 10." said Picard.

"Captain, we have arrived at Starbase 10." Picard heard at over the intercom. "Report." he said as he strolled in. "Starbase 10 has beamed over the supplies we need over." said Riker. "Are the Odysey and the Galaxy here?" ask Picard. "Yes, they are here and ready to set out." replied. "Mr. Data, what is our destinantion?" asked Picard. "We will be heading to the Rigel sector, sir." said Data. "Very well. Worf, tell the other ships to go to the Rigel sector on my mark. Helm set a course for the Rigel sector." said Picard. "Aye, sir." Worf and Hawk replied. "3...2...1...Mark." said Picard. "Captain, may I go and help Geordi stock the supplies?" asked Data. "Yes. Lieutenant Hawk, what is out ETA?" asked Picard. "About 15 minutes." replied Hawk. "Very well." said Picard.
15 minutes later
"Captain, we have arrived." said Data, who had just gotten back from stocking supplies. "Full stop." ordered Picard. "Aye, sir, full stop." replied Hawk. "Mr. Worf, anything on sensors?" asked Picard. "No, sir, nothing." replied Worf. "Go to yellow alert, shields up. Tell the other ships to do so also." said Picard. "Aye, sir. The other ships have acknowledged." said Worf. Suddenly, a gigantic ship decloaked in front of the ship. "Captain!" exclaimed Worf. "Steady, Mr. Worf." said Picard. "Captain, I have never seen a ship of this design." said Data. "What do you think it is, Data?" asked Picard. "It is probable that it is the Shoran ship." said Data. "Mr. Worf, hail them." said Picard. "They are already hailing us, sir." said Worf. "On screen." said Picard. A Shoran image flickered on the screen. "This is Vice-Admiral Japheth of the Shoran Destroyer. Move aside or be dstroyed." demanded Japheth. "We will not move. We wish to speak to your Admiral." said Picard. After talking with people not shown on the screen, Japheth said, "Very well, you may speak to Admiral Jahl." "Thank you." said Picard. The screen blanked off, then another Shoran appeared. "I am Admiral Jahl, I apologize for my brothers militaristic view on enemies. Please move you ships." asked Jahl. "Admiral Jahl, is it not true that you are going to destroy earth?" asked Picard. "That is our intent." replied Jahl. "We will not let you through. We come from that planet." replied Picard. "Then run, and save yourselves." said Jahl. "Why is earth going to be destroyed." asked Picard. "So that you will not colonize any more planets. We do not wish for humans to be on our planet." said Jahl. "What is stopping this ship and the two others from colonizing your planet?" asked Picard. Suddenly the transmission was cut and the ship cloaked. "Mr. Worf, red alert!" exclaimed Picard. "Aye, Captain." said Picard. "Mr. Hawk, set a course for earth maximum warp. Mr. Worf, tell the other ships to do likewise." said Picard. "Aye, sir." they replied. All three ships jumped to warp, then when they were out of sensor range, the ship decloaked. "They are expecting us now, brother." said Japheth. "Yes, but we can defeat them." said Jahl. "Whatever you say, brother." said Japheth

"Mr. Data, send a message to Starfleet Command. Tell them the ship got by us." sadi Picard. "Aye, sir. Message sent." said Data. "Captain, we have suddenly come out of warp. It's just as if the engines stopped working." came Geordi's voice over the intercom. "What about the Odysey and the Galaxy?" asked Picard. "Same thing." replied Geordi. "Mr. Worf, red alert, shields up." said Picard. "Aye sir. The Odysey and the Galaxy have also gone to red alert." said Worf. Suddenly, the Shoran ship decloaked in front of the three ships. "Captain, they are hailing again." said Worf. "On screen." said Picard. "Captain, we cannot allow you to return to earth. Please lower your shields so we may board." said Jahl. "I'm sorry, Admiral but we can't do that." said Picard. "Very we..." Jahl's voice was cut off by Worf. "Mr. Worf, tell the Odysey and the Galaxy to open fire. We are going to try to get back to earth." said Picard. "Aye, sir, they are attacking now." said Worf. "Captain, whatever kept us from going into warp is gone." said LaForge. "Good. Mr. Hawk, set a course for earth maximum warp. Engage." said Picard. "Aye, sir" said Hawk. "Captain. The Shoran Destroyer has destroyed the Odysey and the Galaxy, but it did beam aboard the crews of each of the ships." said Data. "Is it pursuing?" asked Picard. "Yes, sir," said Data.

"Time to intercept?" asked Picard. "Given our headstart, I would say 5 minutes." said Data. "How long until we reach earth?" asked Picard. "7 minutes." said Data. "Mr. LaForge, can we boost our speed past the limits?" asked Picard. "I think so sir. I can get us up to warp 9 point....3." relpied LaForge. "Make it so. Data, how long till we reach earth at that velocity?" asked Picard. "2 minutes." said Data. The Enterprise came out of warp to see a fleet of ships. "Prepare for battle." said the Captain. Red alert Klaxons sounded throughout the ship, and the Shoran Destroyer drew closer.

"Sir, the Shoran Destroyer has come out of warp." said Data. "Mr. Worf, lock all weapons on the target." said Picard. "Weapons locked." said Worf. "Do not fire until I say so." said Picard. "Aye, sir." said Worf. "Captain, the ship is closing in." siad Data. "Mr. Worf, open fire..... now." said Picard. "Aye sir, opening fire. The fleet has also opened fire." said Worf. "Data, any damage to the ship?" asked Riker. "None yet, sir." said Data. "Mr. Data, look for any possible weakness on the Shoran ship." said Picard. "Aye, sir." said Data. "Captain, the Shorans have destroyed one of our ships!" exclaimed Worf. "Data, have you found any weakness?" asked Riker. "Yes, sir. If we fire at this direct spot with all ships, it will be sufficiently weakened." said Data. "Mr. Data, transmit that information to all of the ships, and tell them to fire on my command." said Picard. "Aye, sir, they are waiting." said Data. "Captain, they destroyed another ship!" exclaimed Worf. "Steady....steady.....Now, Mr. Worf!" exclaimed Picard. Suddenly, phaser fire and torpedoes streaked towards the ship. They all hit the same place. The Shoran Destroyer began to break up. "Captain, I am reading multiple deck breaches on the ship. The core is imploding." said Data. "Data, what happens when the core implodes?" asked Riker. "I am not aware." said Data. "How long until core implosion?" asked Picard. "5 seconds, sir." said Data. There was a blinding flash of light, then the fragments of the Shoran ship were gone. "What happened to it?" asked Riker. "The pieces were vaporized. The only thing that saved us were our shields, and the only thing that saved the earth from a nuclear winter was the atmosphere." said Data. "Let us up that the Shorans leave us alone now.
On the Planet Shoran
"The Tokspeth was destroyed before it could accomplish its mission." said a council member to the Sovereign. "Then it is deemed that the earth will not be destroyed." said the Sovereign. "Joran, we will mourn the death of the crew, including your sons, Jahl and Japheth." said the council member. "Yes, I know, Jaklan." said Joran. "We will mourn them for all eternity.
